This is 5 star hotel that has earned every star. One of the best places we have stayed during all our travels through the years.Staff is exceptional in every way. Truly standard setting. Staff is as good as anywhere in the world. Location is premiere. As a bonus the bar turns out first rate handcrafted cocktails of the highest caliber. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and again had a wonderful experience. This may all sound exaggerated, but this an absolute world class hotel.

Two night minimum stay imposed at a £750 a night hotel due to ‘an event…’

I spent several hours reviewing hotels available for one night on our date of travel only to find the following morning (when I went to book) that the hotel had changed their booking policy to a min of 2 nights due to demand.

We are only staying in the area for one night specifically for the event and have no option, need or requirement to stay longer due to our personal circumstances.

I find this tactic very greedy - if the room is available I should be able to book it for one night. Frustrating.

Old world hotel in a wonderful location. Class all the way, wonderfully decorated for Christmas.
Service from all the staff was exceptional, could not fault in any way.
Plentiful breakfast options available to suit every taste.
