The hotel is lovely with a great view, but unfortunately, the service can often be rude and unprofessional, especially if you don’t speak German. Considering the prices you pay, this level of service is unacceptable. The rooms are generally fine, although not all of them. I really enjoy the breakfast and dinner, which are the highlights of my stay. However, I wasn't impressed with the Stube and the Giggers. The lobby is very nice, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired except some of them.

We stayed at the Waldhaus in March and it won’t be our last time. Older hotel which has maintained its history. Met some very kind people here and the owners came by our breakfast table and dinner table everyday to ensure we were happy and were enjoying our stay. Especially enjoyed the nightly piano as well as the 5 course meal. We also loved the spa and our massages were truly wonderful. Thank you Waldhaus!

Came to the hotel to get a drink at the bar. The house band was amazing and the drink was even better. The bar tender made a drink which was not in the current menu. I wanted a hot alcoholic drink and he went out of his way to make it from the their winter menu. One of the best hot toddy’s I have had.

2024 was my eleventh visit to the Waldhaus Sils, and I am coming again in 2025, in June and again in August. Five generations of my family have stayed at the Waldhaus., and I come with family and often with good friends. My heart home!

This hotel is like a time capsule, in a very good way. The cuisine is classic. Service is impeccable. I can’t think of many hotels where the owner takes an interest in personally greeting the guests, and follows up later in the stay to ask if everything is alright. I’ll be back.
