We loved this hotel, such a gem in Wengen. It had so much cosiness and Swiss charm, with very friendly staff and lovely rooms. The view is incredible from the balcony! The included breakfast was also lovely with a great selection of food, including delicious, freshly cooked hot meals of a veggie cheese omelette and French toast.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel in 2023 and I can't wait to go back. The location was absolutely perfect!  We were able to stay in a smaller town among the mountains in Wengen yet still have quick access to the trains and get to Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken.  The hotel was delightful and the views were incredible! The rooms are on the small side which is to be expected in Swiss Chalet accommodations. The morning buffet breakfast was very nice.

The top two things that really stood out at this hotel is the location (views and town) and the staff.  The staff went above and beyond with customer service. The gal at the front desk was amazing and truly seemed to care about our experience there. She staff genuinely wanted to make sure their guests were pleased with the stay.

I will definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Switzerland again.  Beautiful town, country and people!

Such a wonderful hotel. We had the family room - 2 bedrooms, both great in size, along with 2 balconies. Front desk staff were wonderful. I even inquired one night if we would need dinner reservations and she said no, but she made one for us anyway, unbeknownst to me, to hold a window table for us at whatever time we happened to arrive. Restaurant staff were equally great - remembered our breakfast order after a single morning and would continually bring coffee and hot chocolate as soon as we sat down each morning. I don’t have anything to compare it to in Wengen, but I can’t picture it could get much better than this. Easy walk from train station down the main street. Easy access to anything in town.

My boyfriend and I went to Hotel Schonegg for dinner. The service was great. I am gluten intolerant and vegetarian which can make eating out difficult. Our waiter Matteo was helpful and recommended some great options. Delicious meal and the best service we had in Wengen.

Stayed 1 night in August as part of a walking holiday. Very comfortable and clean hotel. Balcony, outside seating and dining, bar and restaurant. Nice breakfast and excellent evening meal (with vegetarian option). Staff very friendly and helpful.
