Our dinner was good, except deserts. We didn’t like all of them, but maybe kids ice cream, classic vanilla, was tasty. But it’s only our personal opinion.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the Brasserie at Royal Savoy Hotel. The staff is welcoming and professional. The setting is classy. The food is of high standard though not so original. A must visit when in Lausanne.

A good option for a business lunch. The Brasserie has 4 different rooms which give you good privacy. Superior service. Daily menu reasonably priced plus la carte with multiple choices.

The Brasserie inside Savoy Hotel Lausanne.

Place: Located in one of the terraces of the hotel, it is a perfect place for a lunch in summer.

Service: This is a 5 star hotel and so is the service, they even have knife selection for the meat. However they take very long time to serve which doesn't go well with working days lunches between meetings.

Food: A bit disappointing. We had beef which was good but small, then slow cooked chicken which to my taste was boiled chicken and then we had tartare du beouf which was good.

For a 5 star Brasserie was expecting a bit more taste on the food.
