I had such a great stay at Sonnmatten. Apricosen kuchen was amazing, dinner was even more amazing, service super cool and rooms comfy and nice. Definitely highly recommended place!

We had a very nice meal here. We recommend checking it out.

We shared the mixed salad, which was fantastic with plenty of varied vegetables and seeds.

I had the cordon bleu, which was very well prepared. The crust was perfect, the veal was tender, the cheese was flavourful. I had it with the fries, which were hot and tasty.  It was too much food for me, so I took half of the cordon bleu home. My dining partner had the scallops, which she enjoyed. The presentation was fantastic. She found it a little salty for her liking, but she is very sensitive to salt. She loved the glass of white wine that is available in the 'natural wine' selection. The draft beer was nice. Only one beer was on offer, which is fine.

The fruit pie desert was great. It was served with whipped cream, which was a nice touch.

Overall, a pleasant meal. The prices seem slightly higher than some other places, but it is clear that they aren't just another place. We think it was worth the price.

This is the meal we will remember from our Switzerland trip.

The food was really good, and I was happy to finally find beef schnitzel. The staff was all smiles, but it was a bit expensive. Note that Zermatt is car free so we had to park in a nearby village Täsch.

Was told the best place in town to eat. The restaurant did not disappoint. The schnitzel was out of this world, so flavorful and huge pieces. The red curry shrimp soup was also amazingly good. The staff is incredibly friendly and very warm. The decor of the restaurant is warm and inviting and full of charm.
