Outstanding restaurant!
I was here with a friend from Zurich, I am so glad I was invited. Booking in advance is recommended!
Nice and unique atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, thank you!
Very tasty meal and good election of wine.
Very welcoming and feeling like home. People know each other and altogether it creates very much Zurich style.

Overall, it was a good experience! Most of the bread was burnt, but the butter had a delightful flavor, clearly of high quality.

Regarding the sliced veal fillet with "Kronenhalle" rösti, the sauce was exquisite, but the veal itself was rather unremarkable—it could have easily been replaced by chicken I would not have known the difference.

For the veal steak with morel sauce, the meat was excellent, though the morels lacked any distinct taste.

The side potato dish (whose name I do not recall) was well-prepared and flavourful.

I do wish the ambiance could be improved, perhaps with some background music, as the noise level was quite high during when I was there.

The service was nice but I think there could be some improvement in the friendliness.

Lastly, it's worth noting that the prices are steep, especially compared to dining out in Paris or Spain.

We did not purchase any food, but the bar service was absolutely amazing. The drinks brought me to tears. Highly recommend for next time if you want to be brought back to your homegrown roots.

We had a wonderful time at the Kronenhalle restaurant. The food was really good (veal with mushrooms and spatzli). Service was excellent. Our waitress took the time to answer to all the questions we had, first in german and when we couldn’t anymore she was switching in english. We chit chat with her at the end of the meal. She was pure class.
