Visited The Broughton on Sunday and tried their Sunday roast along with the focaccia to start which were both enjoyable. The roast was enjoyable, with the carrots and Yorkshire pudding being the standout elements on the plate. I also ordered the cauliflower cheese, though I found it had more roux than actual cheese which was a bit disappointing but overall a decent roast. A special mention to Dean for his exceptional service, and kudos to the rest of the staff for being so welcoming and pleasant.

The meal was absolutely excellent, bursting with flavor in every bite. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, making the experience even better. Truly worth every penny—I’d recommend it 100%!

We found this place almost by mistake, but it was a very fortunate mistake. The staff is absolutely amazing, always helpful and attentive. We had the homemade focaccia and the crisps as we had to wait 40 minutes for the pork chops , the focaccia was delicious and the pork was worth all the waiting, it comes with mashed potatoes and salad. We were very full, but could not say no to the dessert and I am so happy I had it. Absolutely great, highly recommended.

Amazing food in a really amazing pub. Had the roast and a sticky toffee pudding, both were great.

If I were picky and had to say something that could be improved: the place didn’t look packed, but the staff were running around like something was on fire. Still, great experience, for sure will return when I visit Edinburgh again.

Min man och jag firade vår gyllene bröllopsdag på The Broughton. Vi kunde inte ha valt en bättre lokal. Stämningen var avslappnad och varm. Personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Maten var utmärkt. Familjen betalade räkningen via telefon med en mycket artig, hjälpsam medlem av personalen vilket gör hela transaktionen lätt. Skulle gärna återvända. Jag tvekar inte att rekommendera denna anläggning. Tack för att ni gjorde vår dag speciell.

En riktigt underbar restaurang i Edinburgh. Maten och drycken var utmärkt och Servicen var uppmärksam och vänlig. Vi kände oss mycket välkomna och uppskattade och hade en fantastisk upplevelse.

Vi firar 20-årsjubileum från USA. Vi satt vid toaletten/disken. Inte tillmötesgående när du uppmanas att flytta och villiga att vänta. Ett par utan reservation fick bordet i matsalen vi bad att ändra till. Portionsstorlek lite liten.

Fantastisk mat och dryck. Framför huset personal var mycket vänliga och kunniga, hjälper till att para vin med våra huvudmåltider. Tillgodoser mycket väl för en glutenallergi. Sammantaget kunde inte fel det! Skulle starkt rekommendera.

Så min man och jag har druckit drinkar här vid flera tillfällen och alltid haft det bra därav varför vi åkte dit idag. Bara där för drinkar och dirigeras till s bord dukat precis bredvid baren av deras personal. Vi har tidigare suttit vid bar, fönsterplats eller barstolar vid annat fönster och har tidigare gjort en blandning av bar och bord Service ALDRIG HAR VI BLIVIT DEBITERADE 10% Service AVGIFT förrän idag som uppenbarligen är en "festival avgift" så glad beskatta lokalbefolkningen. Vi satt i baren personalen bokstavligen överlämnade drinkarna till oss över baren så varför tror de att de kan ta extra betalt för denna Service särskilt när 3 av deras damer toaletter har ingen toalettrulle Typiskt edinburgh etablering höjer priserna för festivalsäsongen och inte bryr sig om lokalbefolkningen de strular om processen och som kommer att vara där när turisterna har gått Cocktails var trevligt tho

Besökte nyligen Edinburgh och rekommenderades The Broughton — och det gjorde ingen besviken! Maten var helt exceptionell, och atmosfären varm och Välkomnande. Servicen var enastående — teamet tog sig tid att gå igenom hela whiskyutbudet, och deras gästfrihet var verkligen härlig. Vi var en grupp av fem, inklusive barn, och personalen fick alla att känna sig hemma, gå utöver för både vuxna och barn. Rekommenderas nästa gång du är i stan!

Stannade till solo en tisdagskväll och fick ett bord som inte brydde sig om 7: 15 . Servicen från början till slut var stor, uppmärksam och vänlig men inte överbelastande. Lammhuvudet var jättegott och jordgubbsdesserten väldigt god också, lite syrlig för min smak men kan inte markera ner det för det. Kom in på £ 55 för min måltid och en drink som jag tyckte var väl värt det för en avkopplande tid i en kyld miljö.

En trist dag var det härligt att äta lunch här. Menyn är inte omfattande men alla måltider ser bra ut. Drycker menyer var också bra. Servicen var enastående. En mycket trevlig måltid hade.

En riktigt mysig restaurang med trevlig personal. Väldigt god mat! Vi delade på två förrätter, åt varsin varmrätt och delade på en dessert. Förätter: East of Scotland crab trumpets och Steak tartare Varmrätt: Fish and chips och Dry aged rump beef with asparagus and wild garlic. Dessert: Dark chocolate delice with salted milk sorbet and miso caramel. Ja, detta ställe rekommenderas!

Vi ville besöka för söndag lunch och vi blev inte besvikna. Vi började med en pint Guinness och tittade över menyn. Två av oss åt den rosttorkade lagrade rumpan av nötkött, som serverades med rostad potatis, morötter, Yorkshirepudding och sås. Maken valde fish and chips. Fisken var Nordsjön, som han aldrig hade provat förut. Vi beställde en sida blomkålsost till bordet. Vi hade en bra plats bredvid fönstret. Maten var felfri och smakrik. Personalen var vänlig, och vi delade några skratt med dem. Platsen var upptagen och bokning för söndag lunch viktigt. Även om du kan hitta söndag lunch billigare i närheten, kvaliteten på maten och den välkomnande atmosfären gör detta värt den extra kostnaden.

Min fru fick steken och jag fick hjortköttet. Båda var fantastiska! De kryddades så bra med fantastiska smaker! Efterrätten var en mörk chokladdelikatess och var så god att den passade väldigt bra ihop med sorbeten. Tjänsten var fantastisk ger oss bra rekommendationer och rutinmässigt kontrollera på oss. Det var den bästa servicen vi har upplevt i Edinburgh!

Andra besöket idag, för mors dag. Mat, personal och service är exakt 100% perfekt. Första besöket var i februari och jag har hänvisat ett tjugotal personer sedan dess och den överväldigande feedbacken är utmärkt.

Vi hade en härlig tid på Broughton för Sunday Roast. De var tillmötesgående för vår stora grupp. Maten var av denna värld.

The Broughton ligger i nedre delen av Broughton Street och erbjuder en välkomnande blandning av pub och matupplevelse. När du kommer in finns det en bar till vänster, som leder in i en mysig restauranglokal med svag belysning, gröna bankettstolar, senapsfärgade stolar och exponerade stenväggar som förstärks av subtil belysning. Menyn är förfinad och selektiv, med cirka tio förrätter, fem huvudrätter, fyra sidor och fyra desserter. Drinkarna var utmärkta. Jag provade 25 , en husspecial med konjak och Demerara som serverades elegant i en lång champagneflöjt — ett enastående val. Negrerna var också väl - avrättade. Till huvudrätten kokades hjortköttshaunchen till perfektion, kompletterad med en fyllig sås. Den skiktade potatiskuben var en fin touch, och brysselkålen med bacon tillagades i en unik, krämig stil som fungerade bra. Servicen var uppmärksam, med en 10 % serviceavgift ingår i räkningen. Den övergripande atmosfären var intim och stämningsfull, vilket gör det till en bra plats för en romantisk måltid eller en avslappnad kväll med utmärkt mat. En mycket positiv upplevelse.
