Booked in advance, although I visited on a Sunday evening.
Welcomed by both the serving staff who were very friendly throughout the evening.
3 course menu with a good selection to choose from.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant for many years has been our place for a special occasion and it never disappoints. The food and service is exceptional and the staff are very attentive and make sure you have a very pleasant evening in a quiet understated manner.
Anything on the menu is wonderful to eat but we always ask the sommelier for his wine choice to go with our particular choice of dish. I was very touched to have a birthday dessert.
You cannot fail to have a good dining experience here. Enjoy!

We've been coming to La Trompette for many years to celebrate special occasions and it's never, ever disappointed. The quality of the produce, the flavours and the wonderful presentation make the high price tag worth paying - you know you're eating dishes that have taken significant time, effort and passion to get to the table.

Some small things have changed over the years - the rather cold post-refit décor or the loss of the range of breads offered at the beginning of the meal for example - but these are tiny niggles in what's a real treat as an overall experience.

Finally, whatever the flavour of the soufflé on offer - don't miss it!!!!
