I had zero interest in a cemetery, I went because my brother wanted to go.  However, it was actually really cool.  Our tour guide, PAUL, made it interesting and catered the tour towards the people in the group.  He pointed out connections to our cities or countries.  He was ridiculously knowledgeable, funny, and all around amazing.  The cemetery itself is beautiful.  I highly recommend the tour and hope you get Paul.

Visited during the week. An opportunity  to step away from the hustle and bustle of London. We took a tour, (1 hr 20mins). Our excellent guide Joanna, made our visit informative, factual and amusing. We would have been lost without her. Very good value. Lots of wildlife. The volunteers are very passionate about this amazing place. Well with a visit.

Joe obviously loves Highgate Cemetery and he conveys this as he conducts his tour through this beautiful and historic location. Even on this chilly winter afternoon the time flew by as we walked through the cemetery's pathways and discussed iconic highlights.
We highly recommend this tour and found it to be terrific value for money.

No longer a best kept secret. Nevertheless one of my favourite place in London. Either you like Victorian era, architecture… or just graveyards, this is an all year round experience to be enjoyed alone or in company.
Abs if you’re lucky you might spot a ghost or two.
Entry fee goes in support of such incredible historical place.
The staff is so welcoming and friendly.
At the entrance of the Egyptian side you can seat and enjoy a great coffee.
Be prepared to get lost

Four of us went on a crispy cold Saturday in January. It was really enjoyable with an excellent guide. Very atmospheric place lots of surprises. Well worth going ! Thanks to Phillip our guide . It’s creepy and eeerie and peaceful .
