Great food, the sea bass was incredible! The staff was also really friendly, special shout-out to Louise who was very friendly, and helpful. Would definitely come back again. If you're looking to dine you should consider making a booking as it does get busy after 7pm.

What can I say? It was my birthday and all the staff were kind and caring throughout the dinner. Warm atmosphere. Every detail was very well taken care of. Great dishes and wine.

One of my favorite pubs in London!

This pub is very well designed, with newer finishes that give an ode the original designs of older English pubs. The music is always great and relaxing. The service is awesome, and the fish and chips were the best we’ve had in London so far.

Our server, David was on his trail shift and did an exceptional job. If he gets hired, we’d come back and request him specifically.

The Guinness was delicious and perfectly poured, and the vibes were top tier. We will be visiting this pub as our first stop any chance we are in London.

I was disappointed with the service from the FOH lady at the restaurant upstairs. Despite having a reservation, my friend (visiting from overseas) was told upon being seated that the table was only available for an hour. After finishing our meal, the same person asked if we wanted another drink. When I requested the dessert menu, she responded that there likely wasn’t enough time, even though several tables in the section behind us were empty.

After asking her to check, she reluctantly brought the menus but made it clear through her attitude and demeanor that she didn’t want us to stay. This soured the experience, so we opted to request the bill and refused to pay the service charge. The manager, who had been polite and helpful earlier, listened to our concerns, removed the charge, and explained that the tables would soon be occupied (though they remained empty when we left 10 minutes later). Ironically, we could have ordered and finished desserts in the time it took to address the issue.

My friend, noting we were the only Asians there, pondered if this level of service was typical in the UK. I really hope this was an isolated incident; just very upsetting to feel so unwelcomed.

We dined at Walmer Castle for their Sunday Roast and it certainly did not disappoint. For starters, you walk into the most cozy, quaint but noticeably chic restaurant with killer vibes and ambient lighting. They have a few dining rooms so even if the bar area is a bit loud, you can still enjoy a more quiet meal. We had the chicken roast and split it because it was perfect for 2 and that the bacon wrapped sausage for starters. The food was 10/10 and everyone who worked there was just lovely. Can’t wait to go back!
