Stayed here for a long weekend with my daughter to explore the city. The property has a lot of charm, which I really liked, and the location is excellent. Service overall was very good - staff were friendly and helpful.

That said, the rooms were quite warm and the AC wasn’t cooling properly. I raised it with the duty manager, but unfortunately, he wasn’t very helpful and offered a lot of excuses. Thankfully, one of the reception staff stepped in and sorted it out right away, which I appreciated.

The bar lounge doesn’t open until 11am, which isn’t ideal if you’re an early riser looking for a coffee spot to relax or get some work done. Also, cleanliness could be better - especially the mini fridges, which had a bad smell.

Big shout-out to Griselda at the reception (I hope I got the name right). She was amazing and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend to take part in the winter 10k run. Perfect location, room got upgraded which was a really lovely surprise! The staff were friendly and welcoming. I left my phone charger in the room upon leaving which the hotel have been helpful for me to retrieve back.

The breakfast was nice, and the spa was very relaxing!  Thank you !

We stayed at The Dilly for my wife's birthday. A lovely touch was that they upgraded our room to a suite and left a few birthday surprises in the room for us.
The Dilly is a charming old-school hotel with attentive staff, a large pool and gym in the basement and an amazing in- house Indian restaurant (Madhu's).
I'd agree with some of the reviewers that have said that some of the decor and room fittings are looking a bit tired, but apparently the hotel is due for a £90m refit so this may have changed by the time you read this. We certainly couldn't fault our room, and my wife felt this was the nicest room we have ever staying in, in the UK.

I stayed here with my daughter for the night Saturday 11 January. Don- the receptionist upgraded our room to a twin room with double beds. It was amazing, the largest room we’ve ever stayed in while in London. Don could not have done more to make our visit unforgettable. I can’t believe that we’ve not stayed in this hotel before as we visit London many times a year. I slept like a log, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I’m never usually able to sleep well in a strange place but I was out like a light! Breakfast was also complementary and was delicious, so many choices. Staff were so friendly and approachable. I honestly cannot fault this hotel and it will now always be our number one choice when we’re in London. Thank you The Dilly, we loved it. Special thanks also to Don.

Came here for some company training in one of their conference rooms. The hotel was easy to find as it was just a stone's throw away from Piccadilly Circus Station. Staff were helpful and directed me where to go which was great. The food and drinks offered were fantastic and I even got to have lunch at The Terrace Restaurant which was truly superb. The experience that I had here was great, I loved every second of it.
