A lovely evening at Quince with friends. Staff were attentive but also gave us time to order, chat and enjoy the afternoon without being interrupted lots. My stomach is absolutely full and those charred vegetables I could eat everyday. Thank you for all your hard work and care - we will definitely be back soon. Excellent value for money.

A Perfect Valentine's Dinner at Quince, Westgate

We had the pleasure of enjoying a Valentine's meal at Quince in Westgate, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

One thing that really impressed us was the attention to detail—not just in the food, but in the service as well. We had booked our table back in November and requested a specific spot by the window. I didn’t think they would remember, but they did, which made our evening even more special.

The dining experience was beautifully curated, with a pre pre-starter, pre-starter, starter, and main—an indulgent journey of flavours that left us absolutely satisfied. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the chef’s creativity and attention to detail.

To start, we ordered house bread and butter, and cod roe which was absolutely delicious. My starter was the pressed monkfish & smoked prawn terrine, served with house pickles & toast—a perfect balance of textures and flavours. My main, the mushroom pithivier with goats curd and smoked almond pesto, was rich, comforting, and packed with incredible depth.

Every bite was a delight, and while we were completely full by the end, we still found ourselves wishing we could fit in dessert! The team at Quince truly delivered a memorable and refined dining experience, and we can’t wait to return.

We’re here on holiday and our friends recommended Quince. The staff were so accommodating when I requested a vegan meal, and my apparently many dislikes of others ingredients they suggested (I didn’t realise I didn’t like so much!)!

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable!

I’d say the price is completely fair for the quality and size of the portions!

Would highly recommend!
