Honestly guys - we had THE BEST time. Thank you so much. We're always keen to leave a tip wherever we go but we wanted to give you the shirts off our backs! We felt SO well taken care of, and it was genuinely lovely to chat to you all.
As I said to the chefs - it's too rare these days to find food that exemplifies both total understanding and skill, and appeals to the greedy guts in you! Nothing was out of place, nothing gimmicky, everything cooked and dressed to perfection. A beautiful menu.
The service was seamless. Sammy was a true pro and you all made us feel totally at home.
This was a really special treat for us and it was so hard to leave! We'll be back - we're already thinking of making it an anniversary trip every year. And we'll still swim whatever the weather!

We went for a drive to Port Appin on our way to Glencoe and happened to google the Pierhouse, we didn’t book but this wasn’t an issue, it was fairly quiet however, it was the end of November. We had a table in the bar which had lovely views. The staff were really attentive and so welcoming. We had fish and chips and the mussels, It was some of the best seafood I have had! The mussels were so fresh and the fish melted in your mouth. I thought the prices were really reasonable and the quality was unmatched. We definitely will be returning and will consider staying over next time as the atmosphere was lovely and it’s such a peaceful place.

I'm glad the Pierhouse Hotel is near the water because this place is on fire. If you're lucky enough to dine here be prepared for some of the freshest produce known to man. Short of jumping in the Loch and coming up with a lobster, you will not be disappointed. A range of seafood travels by  kayak to the beach and is walked into the kitchen. The manager, David Johnson, beams with pride in this jewel of Port Appin,Argyle Scotland.

Wonderful location to soak up the ambiance of the West Coast of Scotland, both within and outside the hotel.

Super friendly staff, exemplified by the manager.

The seafood meal we had was (excuse the pun) off the charts.  Incredible Arbroath smoky cheese soufflés followed by perfect fish of the day dishes - cod and Dover sole.

Our panna cotta deserts could have had a bit more flavour but that is a minor detail.

There were some good quality wines available at sensible prices and and an excellent selection of whiskies to fish you and the evening off (if that’s your thing).

My kipper at breakfast was again a triumph of excellent produce.

Definitely worth staying if you can to enjoy the full sensory experience.

Friendly staff and fantastic food. The use of scottish products is great. We even had a happy vegan at the table. Highly recommend this place. We had lunch and then returned for dinner the following day. You can also hop on the ferry to Lismore Island.
