I was just passing by when noticed the word Tap. Ooops mean time for a drink.
Nice venue, good selection of beer in cask and keg. Service was good too.

Late Friday afternoon we were in Stockbridge and Mrs S said ' i fancy a half of cider...' as we were passing the Stockbridge Tap we called in - traditional pub lots of wood and leather - friendly welcome, good choice of beers and ciders - all very pleasant non pretentious - a nice local pub and we will come back. thank you.

I totally walked into the right place with this pub... I scoped-out  ones that would have an eclectic set of taps, and this one appears to have regular changes, so it's likely that the selection will always change.  That said, there was beer and ale for every taste, and I was pleasantly surprised.  The bartenders were friendly and helpful with suggestions and there were other friendly patrons to chat with.  I went at the end of the afternoon, so it was lively, and a great stop on my way home.

The Stockbridge Tap is a pleasant, traditionally decorated pub with old style bar mirrors.  Good selection of cask conditioned beers and good range of spirits.  Is very much dog friendly - there were at least 4 when I was there with one having its own reservation! 😅
Service is good but something of note is that large groups are not allowed.
