We had a fabulous lunch here yesterday. Delightful staff, fantastic food and cosy but classy surroundings. Don't miss the chocolate orange mousse - it was to die for!! We will most definitely be back.

My family enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch here.  The starters, roasts and puddings were all mouth-watering and well presented.   Excellent service too.   We’ve just moved to the area and we’ll definitely be returning.   Highly recommended.

Stopped over for Sunday lunch on our journey from Cornwall back to London. Both the beef and pork roast were outstanding, probably the best we had eaten this year. Everything was cooked to perfection. The pub sits in a very picturesque village and was only small detour for our journey. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a last-minute choice for a family lunch. The Boar is a lovely pub in a beautiful village. The service was excellent, and the fish and chips we all had were probably the best I've ever tasted. The only downside we found were the prices. Fish and chips were the cheapest options in what I thought was a very limited menu. Apart from that, we had a lovely time.

Lovely food and atmosphere. We usually  visit when I come home as we can have a grown up meal without the children  . Fantastic food and service every course was a delight. Myself and my husband went home feeling full and very happy . Very reasonable for the quality of food
