Lovely 3 day break this year. Staff work hard and are friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The room is spotless with a lovely view and plenty of  toiletries in the bathroom.
The chef Paul Leonard runs a sharp team whilst cooking food with so much flavour. That’s why we always return. This hotel knows how to treat guests ! Well done

We didn't stay overnight but ate in the restaurant in a group of 7. Service was great, friendly, professional, relaxed - we were looked after from the moment we arrived.
There's an extensive range of drinks ,many including flavours from the garden ( many homemade infused gins). We had the 6 course tasting menu which was adapted to suit the dietary needs of a couple of our party without any fuss at all. The food was just gorgeous, it felt like a very special meal.
The only thing I would have liked would have been a greater choice of wines at the lower end of the price range.

Stayed here for a special birthday as a treat. Room was beautiful with the sounds of the forest the only noise. Dinner was amazing with service to match, never had Michelin star food before & this exceeded our expectations with every course full of delicious flavours & surprises. Breakfast was equally as delicious. Will definitely return to this beautiful place.

An amazing stay!!  Room and common areas well appointed and comfortable.  The restaurant and bar were outstanding.  The hotel kept a bottle of wine I couldn’t finish for the next evening and helped with selections.  Team was professional and service was warm.  Can’t wait to return for another stay.

We had the most exceptional stay at the forestside just before Christmas in 2023.

We were placed in the stunning suite, with the most comfortable bed and a bathroom that’s to die for.
Both of our dogs were welcomed like kings and must have slept as heavenly as we did.
The dinner was out of this world. Each course topped the next and the wine accompaniment was also very exquisite!
We are truly grateful to all the staff members for such an amazing experience!
