Simply extraordinary. We ordered the whole menu! From the milk bread with cheese crust butter (!), to the mushroom ravioli covered in a snow of sheep's milk cheese, to the vivid orange carrots bathed in an ethereally light glowing turmeric hollandaise, each bite was more delicious than the last. It was a truly special meal, one I will never forget. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to dine at Alentours.

Unexpected surprise. Truly original and a dining experience that will delight even seasoned foodies. The husband/wife duo were absolutely charming and made us feel at home. The seemed to enjoy sharing their passion for the local terroir and were happy to discuss the methods used to create various dishes. We would absolutely come back again.

I have to say that this restaurant far exceeded my expectations on everything. We saw all Google reviewers gave 5 stars and they absolutely deserve it. Everything is prepared to its perfection and the taste of each of the 5 course meals is perfectly balanced. My son said if Quebec has Michelin Star rating, this should definitely get the Michelin star rating. They change menu every two weeks. Unfortunately we only stay for a few days. We have to come here if we have a chance to come to Quebec City again!

Loved everything about our experience here! The food and drinks are incredible and they are a model for the industry with the focus on sustainability and use of local ingredients which Chef Tim explains so well. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back!

Kocken Tim såg till att vår sista kväll i Quebec City var minnesvärd. Utmärkta cocktails, roliga lokala viner och öl och naturligtvis mycket intressanta och läckra tar på ingredienser. INTE den typiska quebec city tunga Franska köket ... massor av grönsaker, och han ser till att smakerna och texturerna i grönsakerna är stjärnan. Även ett roligt dabblande med andra kök. . . vi hade några utmärkta Kinesiska inspirerade dumplings, en härlig sydamerikansk inspirerad fläskmage, och den bästa ta på pita jag någonsin har haft. Dessutom gör th cery begränsade sittplatser thr erfarenhet underbart intim.

Middagen här var inget annat än extraordinär. Kocken Tim serverar inte bara mat, han berättar en historia till varje rätt. Han förklarade varje element med sådan klarhet och ärlighet, och för en gångs skull var det hela logiskt. Detta är inte en av de pretentiösa platser där du bombarderas med fina beskrivningar som lämnar dig förvirrad och underväldigad. Det som verkligen sticker ut är deras engagemang för hållbarhet och inköp. Varje ingrediens är avsiktlig. Till exempel använder de bara getmjölk från en specifik gård där getterna föds upp från en enda högkvalitativ familjelinje. Varje val i det köket är medvetet, från potatisskal som används för att göra glass, till kex gjorda av överbliven äggvita och lönnsocker. Inget går till spillo, och allt har en historia. Istället är varje tugga här en resa, skiktad, omtänksam och full av smak. Man smakar en sak, sedan en annan, och sedan något subtilt annorlunda i eftersmaken. Det är smart, roligt och helt utsökt. Inget besviken. Atmosfären är varm, opretentiös och genuint välkomnande, som att vara i en kompis kök, om din kompis råkade vara en framtida Michelin-stjärna kock.
