We had the restaurant on our "to go" list for a while, but didn't really find a time, since they are not opened on the weekend.
Boy do I regret not trying Melba sooner.

That restaurant really hit all the right notes for me. The food was amazing and creative. I really like the small plates concepts, since I like trying a lot different dishes.
The atmosphere and service are not formal, but the service is still attentive.

I'm really happy that I found a fun french restaurant, that is out of the typical french classical food that we see a lot in Quebec City.

Absolutely phenomenal. Walked out the door completely satisfied, in the sense that I’d had a great time and was full of great food..! I’d honestly recommend trying everything- from desert, to main dishes, to appetizers all the food was top-notch and delicious. The portions may seem small but they fill you up with surprising speed and are excellent for sharing. Service was marvellous; the waiters were super sociable, and catered to us wonderfully. They were always there for water refills, to ask how the food was (the answer was always great, if we weren’t nodding our heads because our mouths were too full hahaha), or to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The atmosphere was highly peaceful, and everything was well decorated and looked brand new. The music wasn’t very loud, and you could talk and sit comfortably as you ate both in booths or at tables. Honestly, I don’t think I have any feedback. This restaurant is awesome! Please come here!

I'm usually skeptical of such high review average and find lower averages better, but this was by far the best meal we had during our stay.  I would suggest getting three starters as they are small (and relatively cheap).  Best one and most distinct tasting was the Bikini Sandwiches. Very good restaurant in the Quebec City lower town area.
Food was very good, because we were a large group, we basically ordered the ENTIRE menu.  The whole thing was great. The appetizers were very good and the main dishes were very tasty.  I was not a big fan of the desserts (which I found to be too sweet for my taste) and the fact that we had to vacate before 8 pm as they were starting the second service shift (so the earlier you show up the better).  Overall, a very good place.

We took the full menu and I have to say that it was a very fine and great experience. All of the plates were flavorful and well thought.
We were 4 persons and it would have been nice to have just a little bit more food per plates to share.
Apart from that the service was expectational thanks to Patrick B. and his amazing experience in the field!

Bästa måltiden jag har haft jag ett tag allt vi hade var bra då desserter och cappuccinos var det bästa jag någonsin haft område under vägbyggnad plan framåt

Utan tvekan den bästa måltiden vi åt i Quebec. Maten var levande och minnesvärd och visade verklig matlagning skicklighet. Service och atmosfär var opretentiös och avslappnad. Vi åt på fyra andra topprestauranger i Quebec som enligt min mening lade till många element på en tallrik så att smaken på nyckelingrediensen gick förlorad. Dessa kök lade främst smaker och ingredienser i lager till skillnad från kokta. Jag tog med min dotter till Quebec för maten. Melba - tack för att du gav mig en annan perfekt Quebec matupplevelse, en jag kommer att minnas i många år.

En fantastisk upplevelse på Melba. Från början till slut, inget dåligt att säga. För det första är restaurangens atmosfär minimalistisk men ändå mysig. För det andra var servicen förstklassig. Vår servitör var kunnig och snäll. För det tredje, och viktigast av allt, alla våra förrätter, huvudmåltider och desserter var bra. Några fantastiska kombinationer av smaker med kvalitetsingredienser. En 5/5 för mig. Jag skulle rekommendera!
