We discovered this gem along with the other parliament tours of the library and legislative halls.

The dining room is reminiscent of Greek architecture while being incredibly upscale. Having been to my fair share of corporate banquets around Europe, this experience exceeds those.

We paid $50 for a 3-course tasting menu that would be priced at $80+ in any other restaurant. But combined with the atmosphere of being in a historic building that is still active and relevant today, the meal is presented with gravitas.

This is unmissable for anyone visiting quebec city for the first time. I might come here every time I visit!

We heard about this from our tour guide and we’re so glad we went back for lunch. It was excellent!
Very tourist friendly, excellent food options and great value. The dining room alone is an experience. Remember to reserve in advance!

What a discovery!!! We've been trying many restaurants in Québec but this one is in the top5. And you get to visit the parlement ☺️

We had lunch there as we had just finished our visit and it was raining.
I completely recommend having lunch here before or after a visit.

It was the best meal we had in a while.

First, the setting is amazing. It is a beautiful room at the heart of the national assembly of Quebec.

Staff are efficient and really friendly.

The entrance of the day was a mushroom mousse. It was presented superbly, had a lots of different textures and tastes. Absolutely stunning.

The picanha  was really tasty and so we're the deserts.

It was the best Paris Brest I ever had.

Came here after the free guided tour of the Parliament Building. Fine dining for a steal! 3 course tasting menu with a coffee/tea for only $30. Exquisite plating and presentation, and I was told they try to use locally sourced products.

Vi åt nyligen på Le Parlementaire under vårt besök i parlamentsbyggnaden i Quebec. Besökare kan gnugga axlar med medlemmar av nationalförsamlingen och andra regeringstjänstemän i en elegant matsal som ursprungligen byggdes i början av 1900-talet och restaurerades senast 2020 . Kom hit för historisk atmosfär återställd till sin ursprungliga prakt, varm gästfrihet och en spännande meny. Lunch Service endast - reservationer rekommenderas. Le Parlementaire erbjuder en säsongsbetonad prix fixe Discovery Menu ($ 50 ) samt en à la carte-meny. Vi beställde Discovery Menu och från menyn beställde vi Tempura Zucchini Flowers ($ 18 ) , Roasted Monkfish ($ 32 ) och Mandel Panna Cotta ($ 11 ) . Att äta här var ett matäventyr som introducerade oss till okända lokala Quebec ingredienser och unika smaker. Vi blev positivt överraskade över att Discovery Menu erbjöd fullstora portioner och inte bara var en avsmakningsmeny. Marulken var en stor bit ugnsrostad fisk serverad ovanpå en god quinoasallad - fisken kunde ha varit bättre med lite stek och en sås. Discovery Menu avslutades med Fläder och Jord som var en butternut squashkaka smaksatt med pinjespets tydligen för att ge den en träig örtsmak (det var konstigt). Vi föredrog mandelpannacottan toppad med en syrlig sylt gjord på malda körsbär och garnerad med en läcker mandelcrunch. Slutligen ett speciellt callout till vår server Ginnette som representerade det bästa av Le Parlementaires varma gästfrihet. Även om många gäster var turister som vi själva, behandlades vi som om vi var uppskattade medlemmar av nationalförsamlingen. Merci beaucoup! Allt var vacker, härlig, servitrisen var utmärkt och maten var utsökt! Tre av oss åt hummersallad på en bas av ärtpuré, grönsaksmedley... Jag vet att det låter konstigt - men jag vi alla ville slicka våra tallrikar! Självklart inte. Den fjärde personen hade Monk Fish på en säng av quinoa - hon kände samma om sin maträtt som vi gjorde. Atmosfären på maten, Servicen och restaurangen var underbar. Slutligen, innan vi skildes och reste våra egna vägar, betygsatte vi restaurangerna vi hade ätit på... . Le Parlementaire fick 4 röster! Jag vann, men vi vann alla.

Le Parlementaire är restaurangen som betjänar ledamöterna i Quebecs parlament. Detta var den bästa matupplevelsen i vår vecka - lång resa till Quebec City. Maten var oklanderlig som var servicen. Vi älskade vår erfarenhet, serveringspersonalen och köket. De betonar lokal mat och de har sin egen trädgård på parlamentets område. Dagen vi besökte hade vi menyn Decouverte eller fast pris. Vi åt en vacker gazpacho med räkor, en hälleflundrafilé och till efterrätt lokala jordgubbar i en intressant sås. Bara en fantastisk upplevelse. Vi behandlades så väl. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna upplevelse. Du måste gå in i restaurangen genom besöksentrén till parlamentsbyggnaden. Som med alla regeringsbyggnader nuförtiden måste du gå igenom säkerhetskontrollen och visa legitimation för att komma in.

Vi hade bokat lunchresor före vår turné. Mycket trevlig atmosfär, förstklassig service utan att vara snooty. Vår soppa var utsökt och det iste var mycket bra, men ingen påfyllning erbjöds. Min make hade fish and chips, liksom en lokal "röd" öl. Jag försökte älg carpaccio, som jag lärde mig var rå. Väl förberedd och lite bortom min komfortzon, men jag kan säga att jag åt det! Det verkade inte vara en klädkod, men business casual var inte på sin plats. Det var några mycket dekorerade herrar vid lunchen, påminde oss om att detta var en regeringsbyggnad, rik på historia och människor.

Vi har haft turnén i Quebec-provinsens parlament oerhört. Katherine, reseguiden, var mycket informativ. Vår turné slutade nära lunchtiden så vi beslutade att prova huvudrestaurangen både för lokal mat och atmosfär. De har också en cafeteria. Maten var annorlunda och intressant. Jag hade älgen och min fru hade pasta med grönsaker. Se foton. Visst inte den godaste maten vi hade i Quebec City. Tjänsten var bra. Glad att vi försökte restaurangen för upplevelsen. Det var kul. Jag förstår att de också har en brunch på helgerna.

Parlamentsresan var väldigt lärorik och intressant. Det finns ingen kostnad. Om du äter i restaurangen är maten avancerad, inklusive vilt, men det är dyrt. Trevlig upplevelse.

Otroligt färsk mat. Jag har aldrig haft en mer förtjusande måltid i en mer fantastiskt utsedd historisk plats. Vi kunde komma hit för ett arbete incitament, och det var en otrolig upplevelse.

Ojämlik mot resten. Det bästa stället jag hittade? Le Parlementaire. I parlamentets byggnad. Dess överlägset vackraste restaurangen i den mest spektakulära byggnaden i provinsen. Maten är gjord av färska lokala ingredienser. Menyn är riklig och värt. Presentation är bra, och utan tvekan det allra bästa valuta för pengarna. Vin är intressanta och verkliga värde. Tjänsten är utmärkt, hjälpsamma och vänliga. En att inte missa. Endast lunch. Jag tillbringade 5 dagar undersöker guideböcker och Trip Advisor för utmärkt franska eller Quebec mat och blev hemskt besviken. Detta är det bästa man får, missa inte det.

Vi hade en lunch efter guidad tur. Vi har valt bord d'hote för två personer. För 44 CAD var och en av oss en aptitretare, tre små rätter, efterrätt och kaffe. Måltiden var ett slags fusion kök, med många eleganta små detaljer, till exempel havtorn bär i efterrätt. Allt som allt bättre värde än de flesta restauranger i gamla staden. Starkt rekommenderad.

När vi kom fram till morgonen till frukost upptäckte vi att reservationer behövdes så vi valde att äta i cafeterian nedanför restaurangen. Jag hade en underbar färsk omlette med potatis, toast och frukt garnering för $ 7. Efter vi gick upp den vackra trappan för att se den fantastiska glasmålningen ingången till restaurangen. Obs: du måste gå igenom säkerheten för att komma in i restaurangen eller cafeterian.

Även om vi hade tagit parlamentet tour innan, restaurangen var aldrig försökt. Vi bestämde oss för att gå till frukost på en dag som tjänstemännen var i session. Rummet är fantastiskt genom att det tar dig tillbaka till det som brukade vara - det vill säga stora vackert inredda matsal, sängkläder, porslin etc. Servitriser var fantastiska med sin uppmärksamhet på service. Crepes, french toast, våfflor, frukt, sylt, kaffe, etc. var läckra och prisvärda. Detta är ett måste prova upplevelse, varpå du kan åka på turnén.

Anmäl dig till en rundtur i denna härliga byggnad på morgonen. Gör sedan bokningar till lunch. Detta var så mycket roligt, och maten var enastående. Min man hade en sportsklänning och passar rätt in. Menyn har något för alla plus en trevlig bar markering. Detta var en fav plats och vi skulle göra det igen.

Jag vet att för de flesta turister stansar ett tvåhål i en enda dag för att se Vieux-Quebec för att rensa säkerheten och ha en lugn tre-rätters lunch med vin är omöjligt. Men om du har tidens lyx och vill sträcka ut lunchen och njuta av det på ett civiliserat sätt, så är det här WONDERFUL. Matsalen är som något ur filmversionen av krig och fred. Tjänsten är formell men varm. Maten är spektakulär, med en beundransvärd betoning på lokala, provinsiella och kanadensiska livsmedel. Engelska eller franska menyn tillgänglig. Att se regeringens rörelse på väg in (vi spionerade på en presskonferens) var kul, och vi älskade korridoren full av porträtt på väg ut.
