Heard good things about this restaurant so I wanted to try it out. Overall, food and experience was good but it wasn’t exceptional. Ambiance is very nice and looks very aesthetic. Food came relatively quickly which was nice. We ordered 4 dishes between 2 people and it was more than enough. Not enough leftovers to take home but we were left feeling pretty full!

Hit up this spot during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. The food was solid—great flavors and generous portions. We shared a few dishes and knocked back a couple of bottles, and everything hit the spot. But what really stood out was the service—super friendly and attentive without hovering. Service was good! But food was alright, it wasn’t exceptional lol. Fried chicken appetizer was delicious. The Brussels sprouts had a sour taste which we all weren’t a fan of. “Chef’s tables” are one of the cities best kept secrets: cute tables for two facing the kitchen (but purposely kept away from conversing with them); it offered a cool perspective and atmosphere. Reso recommended for these tables (although we were incorrectly sat at a regular table to start, so speak up!) Food was very good and what you’d expect from an establishment like this. We had a changeover in servers and both were good, but our first one was just going that extra mile and made our evening warm and inviting.
Pasta and dessert were our favorites. The “ketchup” fries are also not to be missed.

David Hawksworth öppnade den här lilla tallrikspärlan för kanske tio år sedan. Det var fantastiskt då och har inte tappat ett beat. Spanien är också bara på vägen så vi vet ett och annat om Tapas. Nightingale (eller som vi har döpt om den till Deadly Nightshade) tror vi försöker vara en Italiensk restaurang, men med en tapaskänsla och (för att citera servitrisen) som en familjetacksägelse. Ok, låt oss ta var och en av dem i tur och ordning. Pasta Arrabbiata - den rätten har fått sitt namn från det Italienska verbet för att bli arg / göra arg (en metafor för hur kryddig den är). Nightingales version gjorde oss verkligen arga. Det var pasta i en slapp tomatsås kvävd i en citroninfunderad ricottaost. När vi förklarade för servitrisen att den skulle vara kryddig (och inte täckt av färskost) kontrade hon med - ja chilisatserna varierar. Jag frågade om kocken tog sig tid att prova såsen. Hon sa ja. Jag skulle säga antingen nej, eller så har han aldrig trampat sin fot i Lazio (det är hemma) än mindre Italien. Sedan var det den linguine con vongole - eller som de förklarade det - pasta med musslor. Gjord med vårlök. Man gör inte en pastasås med vårlök. Om du inte vill fuska med smaken vetandes att lök tar längre tid att reducera. Så till familjedelningsgrejen: menyn är utformad för att delas - för att citera chefen ”som tapas”. Pizza och pasta är inte som tapas och pasta är inte något man lätt kan dela. Delningen försvåras av de löjligt små portionerna. Flyttar till pizzan. Vi har ätit över hela världen men ikväll var det pizza först: restaurangen har ingen ändringspolicy, och jag citerar ”för att skydda rättens integritet”. Japp, om du har en matallergi eller annan preferens är irrelevant - till skillnad från någon annan restaurang i världen får du inte byta pålägg på din pizza. Vi utmanade och hävdade att vår åsikt var att denna restaurang var kit fokuserad på kunden men på att göra köket effektivt (ingen mods och mat kommer ut på deras agenda). Han var inte intresserad och tog inte emot någon feedback. Absolut ingen ursäkt. Så lagförslaget kom. Vi skulle verkligen inte betala fullt pris. Ingen rabatt erbjöds så vi berättade för chefen att vi skulle ta bort CAN $ 60 från notan. Otroligt nog frågade han varför vi ville ha rabatt. Jag förklarade att det var en av de värsta restaurangupplevelser vi någonsin hade haft. Han sa inte ett ord. Marschade iväg. Representerade lagförslaget. Vi betalade och gick. Ingen ursäkt. Ingen ånger. Restaurangen är överskattad och byter ut en intet ont anande kundkrets som förståeligt nog inte vet bättre med tanke på att Italien (och Spanien) är i en annan världsdel. Vi kan bara hoppas att Gordon Ramsay har den här restaurangen på sin att göra-lista.

Detta är en vacker och modern restaurang i centrala Vancouver. Menyn är eklektisk, maten är ganska bra, och våra cocktails var ganska bra också. Servicen var avstängd på kvällen vi besökte, med servern som gjorde flera misstag (inte sätta i drink ordning, och felaktigt trodde vi hade beställt en maträtt som ingen beställt. Jag misstänker att det bara var en dålig kväll och inte Företrädare för den typiska upplevelsen. En annan anmärkning: Detta är en mycket bullrig restaurang. Med detta sagt kunde vi fortfarande föra ett samtal. Kontentan: Vi skulle gärna återvända, trots fel Service.

Svårt pass om du har allergier eller kostrestriktioner. Annonserade objekt på menyn som gluten - gratis, men de har inte en dedikerad fritös - - - så INTE GLUTEN - GRATIS. En i vårt parti har en nötallergi (du vet, anafylaxi = DÖD). Beställde en sallad och bad om att nöttoppingen skulle hållas inne på grund av nämnda allergi. Server berättade för oss att köket "inte accepterar några menyändringar och att de inte kommer att vara uppmärksam på korskontaminering under måltiden prep. " I princip gjorde detta hela restaurangen osäker för att äta om du har en allergi. Utrymmet och platsen är stor. Vackert inredda och en fantastisk bar. Vi blev dock mycket besvikna.

Gör en bokning som denna plats var även upptagen på en måndag eftermiddag. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fruktansvärt framför husets personal. Kontrollera app det fanns gott om tillgänglighet så beslutade att gå in. Receptionen värdar oförskämd och ovälkomnande, sannolikt på grund av ålder som de var unga, möjligen oerfarna. Kommentarer av vi kan sitta dig men "du måste lämna vid 18:00 som vi vill ha bordet" är inte ett intryck denna restaurang vill driva för återkommande gäster. Bordsservice kompenserade dock för det eftersom de var utmärkta och drog detta besök tillbaka till en bra upplevelse överlag. Mat mycket välsmakande, snabb att serveras och kommer som en tear and share service. Kärnmjölk kyckling var fantastisk! Drycker menyn var mycket bra med massor av val, bra cocktails också. Sammantaget 4/5 men borde ha varit 5.

Vi åt på restaurangen för flera år sedan och hade en härlig upplevelse. Jag kan inte säga detsamma för ikväll. Restaurangen var slut på flera av rätterna vi beställde trots att det var relativt tidigt på kvällen. Några av de rätter vi beställde var bra men andra var genomsnittliga i bästa fall. Det inträffade också en incident som ledningen hanterade mycket dåligt och resulterade i att kvällen förstördes. Vi kommer inte att gå tillbaka.

Vi hade en underbar middag med familjen... firande en milstolpe födelsedag. Maten var fantastisk och servicen oklanderlig. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka! Tack så mycket!

Min fru och jag åt här och verkligen njöt av maten. Servicen var också bra. Vin- och dryckeslistan var omfattande - många whiskysorter att välja mellan, till exempel - om än lite dyr. Om vi var i området igen skulle vi återvända.

En stor, två - nivå livliga restaurang. Intressant meny — lite avant - garde, men med flera trevliga alternativ. Mestadels små tallrikar. Maten var mycket bra. Servicen var nästan överbelastande, särskilt innan vi beställde. Servitörer var väl - avsiktlig men intensiv. Skulle inte rusa tillbaka.

Härlig atmosfär i finansdistriktet Vancouver. Spaghetti med musslor var supergott - älskade det. Pastan var helt klart nygjord. Vi hade också en pizza med fyra ostar och kronärtskockor som var bra. Service mycket bra.

Vi kom hit 2020 och älskade det så mycket att vi gick två gånger under det besöket. Vi återvände i år och var tvungna att besöka igen. Det var så gott. Vi var glada att se några liknande rätter som var favoriter (Bryssel! ). Servicen var utmärkt. Bra cocktaillista och fantastiska viner att välja mellan. Runt en underbar upplevelse.

Nightingale är en frisk fläkt. Gård till bord när den är som bäst! Bra vegetariska alternativ - tänk brysselkål och rödbetor! Exceptionellt hög matkvalitet. Servrarna var fantastiska. Vi hade en härlig tid och kommer tillbaka!

Jag hade en mycket tråkig upplevelse med denna restaurang. Jag gjorde en bokning i god tid och nådde ut via OpenTable för att fråga om kostrestriktioner och boende, eftersom jag planerade en speciell kväll. Tyvärr fick jag inget svar, vilket gjorde att jag hamnade i en svår situation. Bristen på kommunikation tvingade mig att avboka samma dag, eftersom jag inte kunde riskera att närvara utan bekräftelse. Trots att de förklarade situationen vägrade restaurangen att ta ansvar för deras underlåtenhet att svara på mina förfrågningar och insisterade på att debitera mig enligt deras avbokningsregler. Jag förväntade mig någon form av kompensation för de besvär som deras bristande kommunikation orsakade, men inget sådant erbjudande gjordes. Även om personalen bad om ursäkt löste det inte problemet, inte heller tog det itu med kärnfrågan: deras misslyckande att engagera sig med kunder via OpenTable eller ge snabba svar. Jag hoppas att denna översyn hjälper andra att fatta ett mer välgrundat beslut. På grund av bristen på kundvård och kommunikation, kommer jag inte att återvända till denna restaurang.

Vi var på sista dagen av vår resa och hade fått nog av att äta ute så jag fick några pizza att ta med tillbaka till vårt hotellrum. Jag måste föredra detta med, efter att ha vuxit upp nära New Haven CT, jag tar förmodligen min pizza lite för allvarligt. Jag kan ärligt säga att detta var i topp 10 (kanske även 5 ) pizzor jag har ätit. Även om jag inte åt i atmosfären i inne i restaurangen var så inbjudande. Om vi hade en annan natt i Vancouver vi definitivt skulle ha återvänt för att äta i.
