Bud stage is my favourite concert venue in Toronto. The seating area is partially/mostly covered, but if you’re in the lawn section, you’re fully exposed—though it’s usually a great party vibes Some concerts will have chairs set up on the lawn, other times you can bring your own blanket to sit on.

If you’re planning to eat/ drink there, be prepared to spend. The drink prices are ridiculously high, and concessions overall aren’t cheap but that’s to be expected, there are lots of options.  If you’re after a fun outdoor venue with a great crowd, Budweiser Stage delivers (especially if the weather is good and sunsets are showing off). It does get a bit breezy here even on summer nights as it’s near the lake, so good idea to bring a sweater on cooler nights.

If you’re planning to catch a train etc after the show, be prepared to wait. It’s a bit slow moving to exit after the show & traffic is brutal, but it’s worth it if you aren’t in a rush!

Ok so I really love this venue for summer concerts. It has great vibes for that. However, it could use some updates… (washroom facilities could be better, that’s my biggest suggestion). Acoustics can be wonky, but overall you can still hear everything.

A great venue for seeing a concert with a young child (we saw Red Hot Chili Peppers in July 2024). Guest services can also provide a sensory bag which had noise cancelling headphones and toys with which they can occupy themselves while they wait (though I had my own items). The open air setting and lawn seating were great

Dirty and worn out. Crowded obviously. Perhaps I’m getting a little less tolerant.  But the show quality lessens each year. People in front standing and blocking view. Gets old. We went to see Imagine Dragons which are great, perform fantastic. Just a great show. I have been fortunate enough to see them every time they have come to TO since the band has been touring.
But the venue is getting old. Rough and dirty.
If you can get the right seats the view is the best but you really have to pay up and get the right timing. Not unusual to pay a $1000 for a decent seat. Which is wasteful. Too bad really. The ticket selling company has monopoly and the scalpers are extortionate. Makes it difficult to get decent seats to a good show.
But that’s concert going life it seems.
Besides if a company invests in giving this place a facelift, the prices would be even more insane ! Just my opinion.

Keep in mind traffic as well. Always brutal around show time!!! Just ridiculously terrible!!!

First time at the Budweiser Stage to see Post Malone. Concert itself was fantastic. Staff were really nice.we came early to park our car and that went smooth. Venue its self was disappointing there is only one exit out it was very crowded and unorganized feeling. Likely wouldn’t return here again.

Amex Lounge - Budweiser Stage

Went to the Amex lounge for the Rod Stewart show. The lounge is actually pretty large. You can make reservations or just go early and get a table either on the barge beside the boat shuttle. We shared the poutine with garlic aioli and the nachos with guacamole. They were both very good. The atmosphere is great and it's nice to sit outside on the boat dock.

outstanding, and i only got to experience this last year! i was always confused that people would tell me they were going to the amex lounge and i had zero idea where it was in respect to the venue's lay out. the lounge in respect to the venues entrance is on the completely opposite side of the stage by the lake. the other thing you need to know is that yes, it is called the amex lounge for a reason, you need an amex card with your name on it as your pass to get into the lounge, or be accompanying someone with a card. this lounge has a really excellent selection of alcohol, and an even better selection of food, to the point where i can say that some food options here you won't be able to find elsewhere on the grounds. with me only starting to come here last year, i did notice that every single time i came to the lounge with friends there was famous people here, just hanging out and having drinks, members of alexisonfire, sum 41, some crew members from iron maiden, the list goes on and on. after the shows they feature having a DJ here to play music in respect to the genre of the show that night, having come out to metal concerts at the bud stage, the DJ was spinning all of the hits from new school and old school metal. the only negative i have is that sometimes this lounge can be a bit loud with the volume of everyone talking and the music going, but otherwise its a great time. i also found the lounge to be very bright with all of the natural light coming in and also very fresh air wise, almost breezy. Transit options are not direct at all, ttc lists a bus that services the venue as a seasonal bus, but i've never seen it in any of my concert going years. indirect options, the 509 harbourfront streetcar, the 511 bathurst streetcar, the 29 dufferin bus to the dufferin gates, the 121 fort york to the princes' blvd gates, and finally the exhibition go station, all of the above are with a 15-20 minute walk to the venue grounds and then a further 5-10 minute walk to the lounge. parking options, on site there is parking, but it fills up pretty quick, $30 a vehicle, across the street on the CNE grounds has alot of parking for $20, and just north of those grounds in liberty village i've seen parking for $5-10 depending on the lot and if they know an event is going on or not, again with a walk. I'm really happy with this lounge, the service levels that they have provided and its always been a great time with friends!
