This is quite the hot spot with a great ambience and great service! 🙏🏽

With that said you might have different opinions on the dishes - depending on your experience and expectations with Caribbean and Latin food. Either way I really enjoyed myself and liked that you can share everything!

✅ The beet and pineapple salad was awesome with so many different flavours.

The corn was pretty good with pickled onions and jalapenos. And the jerk chicken and the blackened fish were both decent as well.

🤗 Overall you get a lovely vibe here with  soild food and great hosts! Enjoy!

Can’t rave enough of how amazing this place is! No wonder they won a Michelin Bib Gourmand in less than a year of opening!

Visited for the first time in the summer for my girlfriend’s birthday and had to return with my husband so he could try it. He loved it so much that we decided to host my husband’s staff X-mas dinner this past week.

We were a group of 9 people and had a set menu at $80 pp. The menu was 3 courses with a total of 9 dishes to share (chosen ahead of time) Food came out fast & more than enough food to go around. All the dishes were so delicious. Some faves were the firecracker shrimp, cheese puffs, creole Caesar & braised beef.

Owners are incredibly hospitable & attentive. A must try if you love a fusion of Caribbean, Latin American & Creole food!

Sat at the bar and vibe was amazing. Bartender is very skilled and entertaining to watch. All other staff members were very attentive and full of great energy. It was my birthday and they all came a few times with shots to take together, had the whole restaurant sing, and even talked with us for a while (this was a packed Saturday night). More surprisingly the customers that were eating at the restaurant were all in good spirits and it didn’t feel like I was at a restaurant by the end of it. Top it all off, the food was 5/5! Curried lamb was my favourite and they do have an in-house hot sauce which was great.

Very comfortable atmosphere, good energy, great service, and great food! A must visit for anyone!

Wanted to see what the hype was about this  Latin American/ Caribbean restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservations for the  inside area and there was a line up of people waiting. The door area was pretty congested. They need a better system. The people seated right by the door must have hated the coldness and that people were standing right next to their table. After waiting 20 min beyond our reservation time, we were seated. We were given the option to go to the heated patio or wait longer for the inside table reservation. We opted to go outside to the patio. Getting there, you walk through a corridor that does drip some water (it was raining). The patio area is covered.

We ordered the ceviche, shrimp, macaroni, and pork tacos. Everything was tasty except maybe the macaroni; it was nothing special. We ordered two cocktails as well which were pretty pricey for the size. Dishes we got were quite small and we shared among two people. Tres leches cake was not moist along the bottom. Not sure if this had been frozen.

The restaurant was full. Overall was good to try something new, but it's a bit too crowded when getting in. There was one lady on the patio sitting nearby to us who was vaping. I'm pretty sure that's not allowed and no staff said anything.

What a wonderful find! Conjero Negro is such a vibe. Although they don't take reservations, they managed to accommodate us last minute, which was much appreciated. The patio was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening.

The food was delicious — special shoutout to the cornbread, which was out of this world! Every dish we tried was great and the overall dining experience was excellent. The prices are reasonable. The service was also top-notch; the staff was super friendly and attentive.

The only downside was the parking, which was a bit fiddly. Also, since the restaurant is on the smaller side, I'd definitely recommend making reservations if possible to avoid any wait.

Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere!
