Top notch Italian. Well worth the visit. Lot of food for the signature tasting, you will not be disappointed. Flavours surprisingly started a little mixed with nice but not stupendously delicious bites. However flavour and variety escalates extremely quickly and the meal fully redeemed and exceeded expectations. Venison, mushroom pasta, black cod, and wagyu are forever memorable for the richness and beauty. Obviously don’t come for the bathroom award. It’s wasn’t overly impressed or even as clean as you would expect.

One of my favourites in Toronto. Food, atmosphere and service are all top notch. Been a fan of it ever since it opened, happy to see it got a Michelin star now! Well deserved. Highly suggest this place for any occasion.

My first time dining at DaNico.
Stand out dishes for me were the initial Canape's, the tuna and the mushroom pasta dish. The weakest dish in my opinion was the miso cod- I felt the mushrooms took over the subtle flavour of the cod and miso, and provided a texture that didn't enhance the butteriness and creaminess of the vermouth sauce and cod.
We were celebrating a birthday, and they provided an extra dessert and gift to join the celebrations. Excellent customer service and attentiveness overall- our server and sommalier were knowledgeable and very friendly. I wish the kitchen was more visible to the restaurant, as that is one of my favorite parts of tasting menus.

Beautiful restaurant! We did the tasting menu and it was such a fun experience. We enjoyed almost all the dishes and I particularly liked that every dish came with its own "snack". Started off strong with the canapes and the crab salad was SO delicious. Not to mention beautiful.
