My friend Danny arranged this dinner. He also ordered the duck dish one night before. The service was outstanding by Ray. The food was great. The duck dish was the best duck  dish I had anywhere.  Cooked to perfection. Was a delight to enjoy every bite. We had other dishes including fried rice which was crunchy and delicious. Was a very nice dinner. Need to visit again.

We came in without a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff here are incredibly friendly and personable, they recognized us despite it being a while since our last visit! The bartender helped suggest and curate a drink for us, which was super thoughtful. The food was splendid, as always, arriving quickly and beautifully presented. The CSB was fantastic, and we stuck to a favorite with the classic R&D fried rice. We also had the lamb chow mein, a newer addition to the menu, and it was excellent—especially after adding a hint of lime. I’ve always had a wonderful time dining here 🍽️

Perfect spot for a date night. I came with my partner, and we had the BEST DUCK IN THE CITY, along with the R&D fried rice, and sticky toffee pudding. The food was so so good, the duck was juicy and paired very well with the steamed buns. I’ll definitely be back again!

Gochujang skewers: good texture, the lightness of the nuts and herbs counteract the gochujang flavour

Green beans: well seasoned

Broccolini: spicy, crunch makes it feel savoury. They did a great job of turning a vegetable dish into something crunchy and savoury!

Salmon: the acidity of the sun dried tomatoes cuts through the salmon well. Definitely a Western style dish and not a Japanese dish.

Shrimp: my favourite!! The shrimp is light, sweet, and creamy. The toast is super crunchy. Light lemony flavour.

Fried rice: incredibly satisfying crunch and umami flavour.

Char siu: soft and melty. All the upside of classic char siu but with more consistent texture. Has a sweetness to it!

Peking duck: great combination of juicy and crispy.

Food came out SO FAST.

Their mushroom fried rice is good, the platting is very creative. Their long green beans are very good. The atmosphere is very chill, great to go with friends. Just be aware their food is on the pricier end.

Vi stannade i Chinatown för en natt. Vi tänkte prova denna restaurang. Vi delade på en grönkålssallad, inte ett stort fan av grönkål men den här restaurangen slog ut den från bollplanen. Det var läckra, intressanta smaker men lite kryddig. Vi provade även porciniris, OMG, bästa riset någonsin! Vi delade sedan på ankan. Ankan var fantastisk, serverad med ångbullar, hoisinsåsgurkor och grönlök. Ankan var precis tillräckligt för att mata 5 personer. 10 / 10 måltid och vi skulle definitivt rekommendera denna restaurang. Servicen var utmärkt också.

De har den bästa Char Sui och kladdig kolapudding någonsin. Kom hit med maken och säkert Inte besviken. Det har viss vibe och maten var helt utmärkt. Vi beställde inte ankan men nöjd med morfarsknytet och långbönorna. Bra ställe för middag.

Vi kom till Toronto över helgen för att fira vår årsdag och kom hit för en fantastisk måltid. Efter att ha fått ett gratis glas bubbel (tack! ) satt vi vid kockens räcke där vi kunde se det otroliga köksteamet arbeta synkroniserat med att laga helt utsökt mat. Vi fick även kort chatta med och titta på kockägaren bryta ner en anka för en av deras berömda rätter. Smakerna var otroliga och rätterna var vackert upplagda. Längtar efter att gå tillbaka och prova några av de andra objekten!

Vi hade en verkligt spektakulär måltid här. Allt var enastående från smaker och presentation till vänlighet och hjälpsamhet av personalen. Portionsstorlekarna var generösa. Vi kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera denna restaurang till alla som vill ha utsökt mat i en vacker och avslappnad atmosfär. Du kommer inte att bli besviken!

Vi gick på en rekommendation och det var enastående, vi beställde 3 aptitretare och de var alla läckra och mättande. Vår server var en chef och han var fantastisk med sina rekommendationer

Servicen var bra, så var även signaturen cocktails. Men disken var en besvikelse: 1 . Grönsaker (brocolini eller wok - stekt långböna eller brysselkål) kvävdes i kraftig sås som laddades med salt och socker. Brysselkålen var friterad till oigenkännlighet och såg ut som kol med den tunga såsen. 2 . Dim sum behöver förbättras också: nötköttet var tuggigt i kalbi beef bao, och man kan knappt smaka krabban i fläsk & krabba siu mai eftersom curryn var överväldigande och hade en tvålsmak. 3 . Den stekta kycklingen var god och mör, men lammspiduccin var extremt fet. 4 . Den största besvikelsen måste vara den så kallade ”bästa ankan i staden”. Ingenstans nämns det i menyn att ”den hela rostade pekinankan” är kockens egna kreativa spekin. Det är inte rättvist att debitera en kund 120 dollar utan rättvis varning att det inte kommer att bli något som man förväntar sig av en traditionell stekt anka: det var underkokt och smakade som rökt kött. Förutom några presentabla bitar var resten av ankan inte ens ordentligt skuren; den kunde bara beskrivas som att den styckades. Sammantaget skulle jag inte rekommendera denna restaurang, särskilt om du bryr dig om din hälsa, både fysiskt och ekonomiskt. Man skulle kunna tro att $ 525 skulle säkerställa en läcker måltid för två, men tyvärr! Det var inte meningen.

Det var i Winterlicious och vi trodde att vi skulle kolla in det. Det är lite ur vårt sätt men det var "värt att köra". Maten och presentationen var bra. Tjänsten var stor.

Vi ville hitta en plats att äta i Chinatown, och när vi letade efter FoU verkade vårt bästa alternativ - och det var det! Vi var där på en måndag och det var ganska tyst. Tjänsten var utmärkt: menyn är en blandning av mer traditionella rätter och vissa moderna vändningar. Varje maträtt vi hade var fantastisk - vårrullarna är så bra! ! Liten men solid vinlista och bra atmosfär. Menyn är också superklar för glutenfria alternativ! Vi kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka

Allt om upplevelsen var 100% perfekt - vackra Restuarant och Bar, fantastisk atmosfär, mat och meny är otroligt. Till och med sidan av Bok Choy var det otroligaste jag någonsin har smakat. Laksa var bortom läckra. . . vi kunde inte få nog. Ölet är också fantastiskt. Glasyren ovanpå kakan är tjänsten, vår servitör erbjöd oss några gratis grisköttbullar innan vi lämnade men tyvärr är vi pescatarian. Det enda nedslående är att vi bara besöker Toronto så vi inte kan återvända: (

Efter en sen lunch kontrollerade vi efter desserter och FoU spratt upp. Var tvungen att vänta lite eftersom alla bord var reserverade. Efter att ha sittat beställde min man vietnamesiskt kaffe och jag gick för Ais Kacang. Efter att ha besökt Fjärran Östern några har vi våra favoriter. . . . . så denna nya moderna twist till Ais Kacang var verkligen mycket trevlig. Den andra, vietnamesiskt kaffe var bara bra och inte så speciellt. Fick 2 Laksa att gå och våra pojkar gillade det. Skulle vilja gå igen för att prova lite mat.

Bra måltid! Satt inför köket som var helt fantastiskt att se kocken Eric och hans souskockar fungera. Maten var enastående, mycket stora portioner och utmärkta cocktails.

Tidigare hade min fru och jag en bra upplevelse att äta middag på FoU. Eftersom FoU annonserar en Cocktails Special av alla cocktails $ 7 från 5 - 7 pm. 7 dagar i veckan (med ett externt tecken och tryckt på menyn) bestämde vi oss för att ta en drink och snacks. Men när vi kom fram till 5: 30 igår kväll, fick vi veta att det inte fanns någon speciell. Allt var vanligt pris ($ 12 - $ 19), med ett val av 2 cocktails tillgängliga för $ 8, från deras Summerlicious-menyn. Jag pekade på baren personal som faktiskt det var annonserad utanför, och tryckt på den meny som han bara hade lämnat till oss och han svarade fritt "Jag vet inte varför de har det där, cocktails är alla vanliga priser" och promenerade bort (vi var de enda beskyddare i baren). Sedan vi väntade på en annan händelse att börja, hade vi en snabb drink och lämnade till ett lokalt café istället. Bortsett från shadiness av hela utbytet, tydligt reklam en sprit special som inte erbjuds, baren personal var oförskämd och perfunctory. Det har varit länge sedan jag har haft en erfarenhet så dåligt i en anläggning som borde och skulle kunna göra mycket bättre.

Min fru och jag letade efter en Peking Duck plats och detta visade sig. Denna restaurang är fusion plats och det var därför inte traditionell Peking Duck, men oavsett. Ankan var utmärkt kokta och köttet var saftigt. Traditionell Anka fokuserar normalt på andens hud, den här platsen fokuserar på huden och köttet som passade min smak precis bra. Det var snällt roligt och intressant att den kantonesiska familjen bredvid oss gav oss "sidoöget" och gjorde några anmärkningar om ankan som inte var autentisk, men det spelar ingen roll också. Detta är definitivt en maträtt som du bör försöka.

Inte vanliga vårrullar men några reviderade asiatiska maträtt i en trevlig och charmig restaurang. Mycket bra service.

Min fru och jag hade middag på FoU och var positivt överraskad på kvaliteten på maten. Utrymmet är mycket eklektiskt, tjänsten är bra, och de asiatiska fusion menyalternativen är väl förberedda. Goda cocktails också. Rekommenderas starkt.
