Basic, masquerading as luxury. Junior Suite is poor - tiny window with tunnel view. Dark. Exec rooms are fine but tub is basic. Exec lounge service is very good, as is cleaning service. Front Desk likes to have you come to them almost daily - keys not working, credit line not created for hotel expenses, etc. Pool is good but only lightly heated so only usable during the height of the day (even for a Canadian). Well priced, and otherwise well presented, so that helps with all the above.

We stayed at this property for a few weeks, and our experience was satisfactory.

The staff consistently met JW Marriott standards, especially in the lounge, providing personalized service.

However, the hotel needs improvements:
- The air conditioning in the rooms is old and non-adjustable.
- The toilets in the rooms are outdated and have old water handles.
- The gym equipment is very old, with some noisy and unstable treadmills.
- Wi-Fi in the executive lounge is intermittent and slow, hindering work.

Breakfast in the lounge offers good variety, but the hours are shorter than in the main restaurant.

Bonvoy members have access to the lounge and a guaranteed breakfast there. Unlike at other Marriott properties, however, only two complimentary alcoholic drinks are allowed.

Overall, this property needs updates to maintain JW Marriott standards. While the value for money is good, the brand suggests modernity and high standards that we, as guests, expect.

We stayed four nights for a vacation and appreciated the impeccable work by the housekeeping team—they truly made our stay comfortable with spotless rooms and attention to detail.

However, we were disappointed with the service at lounge breakfast and CÚA. Despite a beautiful setting, the staff often felt inattentive and seemed more focused on asking for our room number than enhancing our dining experience. We expected a higher level of service to match the JW Marriott name.

Rooms ate great. Some have awesome views but you'll want to be above the 10th or 11th floor. Nearly all the staff speaks English. The location is nice but be aware that it's not really in CDMX. It'll be a 20-30min taxi ride downtown.

Heater not working when it's cold. Complained to front desk but did not give me a new room. Later at middle of the night around 1AM it started leaking water from the ceiling. The water fell for a long time as we were sleeping and it damaged our clothes, luggage, and shoes. I asked Marriott for compensation but they never got back to me. What a TERRIBLE experience. Not recommend at all.
