I really loved our dinner at Raiz, and it’s a place I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambience of the restaurant set the tone for the evening. The interior had a warm, inviting feel with just the right level of lighting to make it intimate without being too dim. The music was well-curated and perfectly complemented the overall vibe—relaxing yet energetic enough to keep the mood lively.

We opted for the 9-course tasting menu, which felt thoughtfully priced given the exceptional quality and creativity of the dishes. Each course was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and flair for innovation.

Out of the nine courses, several dishes stood out as exceptional. The pork belly was a standout, cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful interior. The parsnips were surprisingly delightful, highlighting how a humble vegetable can be transformed into something extraordinary. And then there was the flan—a dessert that left a lasting impression. Creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, it was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. It was the perfect way to end the meal and left me wishing I could have another serving!

If you want to try Michelin star experience, then you have to go visit this place. Our server was excellent and so was the manager. The food was exceptional. Every plate was crafted so carefully and presented with such intricacy. They changed the plate and silverware after each and every plate. We tried their hand crafted cocktails and their oysters, sea urchin and huitlacoche tostadas, which is also known as corn mushroom, corn smut or Mexican truffle! Pretty amazing!!! We also had their Octopus. They divided our plates into two, as my husband and I like to share everything. The oysters were our favorites and we ordered another round. Definitely try this place.

Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Incredibly fresh and locally sourced ingredients turning vegetables and mushrooms dishes into amazing highlights of the evening. Recommend highly for vegetarians and offering vegan options as well. Also plenty great meat and fish options. Highlights were the clam ceviche, mushroom dishes and Tomato salad. Both tasting menues and a la carte. A perfect evening!

Excellent but very long meal. Worth going if you want to relax and enjoy great food. The asparagus is one of my all time favorite dishes and the pork belly is fantastic. Tacos are skippable.

Honestly, we saw the score is very high in Google map..and we came with high expectations. We ordered tasting menu with 9 courses..but the food was so ordinary, no surprise. And even some street food is better than it. The dessert is not that tasty with strange flavors. It’s really not worth that money (2000 peso per person in the bill). We will not come anymore.

Bra ställe. Maten var utmärkt och mycket väl - prissatt med tanke på vad det är. Bekvämt och på gränsen till ledigt på bästa sätt. Service uppmärksam och snäll utan att vara kvav. Vi gjorde ala carte och var mycket nöjda.

Fantastisk meny, vänlig personal och mycket tillmötesgående för två vegetarianer, och en annan med skaldjursallergier. Varje rätt var unik och utsökt. Vi älskade hela kvällen. Det enda jag skulle ändra på var musiken väldigt konstigt att ha 80-talsmusik som skrek åt en på den här fina restaurangen!

Uppfinningsrik meny och cocktails. Bra val. Slutprodukten gjorde ingen besviken. Intressanta val med ingredienser, som alla fungerar bra. Personalen super uppmärksam och förklarade varje maträtt för oss i detalj. Desserterna var mumsiga. Enda kritiken var att personalen försökte rensa plattor för snabbt. Kanske är det så de gör i Mexiko, så vem vet, men det görs inte långt i Kanada. Betygsatt en hög rekommendation.

Det här förtjänar en Michelinstjärna! Allt var fantastiskt, från det ögonblick du går in. Cocktailarna var kreativa, maten utmärkt, servicen var super, och vinerna var bra! Vi älskade ankan med mullvad! Det här var mexikansk mat som det ska vara. Vi kan inte vänta med att återvända på vårt nästa besök, och vi kan inte vänta med att prova en av avsmakningsmenyerna. Tack för en så minnesvärd upplevelse!

Vilken härlig upplevelse! Matsal atmosfär är elegant och bekväm. Varje bord togs när vi besökte på en torsdag kväll, och av goda skäl. Maten var utsökt, och kreativ utan att vara över - toppen. Höjdpunkter för oss var gräshoppstaco, ank tostada, bringa och honung dessert. Servicen var vänlig och professionell. Chefen var mycket uppmärksam utan att vara overbearing, och skickade ut ett par gratis godsaker utöver nöjet. Han gav också en utmärkt mexikansk vin rec (en Cab, Merlot, Syrah blandning, tillgänglig av glaset. ) Bra valuta för pengarna var väl. Sammantaget skulle jag sätta rätt upp där med de bästa platserna vi har träffat i CDMX, tillsammans med Pujol och Lorea. Bra gjort!

Maten var mycket välsmakande, om inte enastående, och presentationen var utmärkt och upphöjd. Puddingarna var exceptionellt läckra. Förrätten på ank taco var bra men vi kunde inte riktigt säga att det var anka och sås och taco var inte mycket mer än man förväntar sig av en bra taqueria. Nötköttets korta revben kokades till perfektion (så mjukt att jag inte kunde plocka upp det med en gaffel). Servicen var bra men lite över - uppmärksam. Vinet är mycket dyrt men utsökt och cocktails var underbara. Mycket trevlig miljö, med smart men bekväm matsal och utsikt över köket. Vi kom fram till 7 på en tisdag och platsen var ganska tom och stämningen blev säkert bättre med fler människor i rummet. Den kostnadsfria förrätten var en trevlig och välsmakande touch.

Raiz gör ett bra jobb - rummet lugnar sig med väl avstånd från bord så det känns väldigt intimt utan att vara formellt. Svarta väggar och ett exponerat kök och på något sätt drar de av det. Tjänsten är professionell, gammal skola utan att vara uppskattad. Maten är utmärkt - fisk tacos (en sådan cliche och utmärkt!), Soppor, ostron. Allt var väldigt friskt och innovativt. Detta är ett utmärkt val!

Jag gick på en vinprovning som senare krönades av mat. Jag förstår att maten vi fick var utanför den vanliga menyn. Efter att ha sagt att kvaliteten på vad vi fick var heltäckande. Ren, trevlig atmosfär. . . . ingen hård belysning eller musik. Ägarna inser att en restaurang inte är en nattklubb. Tjänsten är utmärkt och effektiv. Maten är utmärkt, smakfull och unik.

Detta är den bästa restaurangen för mexikansk mat jag vet i Polanco! ! Det är inte den typiska mexikanska tunga biljetten men gourmetklassdiskar som tillåter att smaka på det enorma utbudet av mexikanska ingredienser och färdigheter.

Maten var fantastisk! Kock Israel vet säkert hur man kan glädja sina gäster med en otrolig kombination av rätter och smaker. Du kan inte gå fel med vad du väljer från menyn. Gör dig själv en tjänst, beställa flera saker och dela med vänner eller familj. Du kommer ihåg denna rådgivning. Atmosfär och inredning är stora och tjänsten var oklanderlig också. Vi älskade denna restaurang och var vår favorit av de sju restaurangerna vi åt i Mexico City. Jag hade bläckfisk som var ömt. Allt var läckert. Det är en lugn restaurang.

Jag kom i ett dåligt humör från min dag och var redo att hata platsen. Jag älskar mexikansk mat. Jag finner det hård, och jag finner att det förlorar en del av sin piquancy med fusion. Jag blev positivt överraskad om hur mexikan maten fortfarande var trots experimenteringen. Jag älskade de torkade quelitesna med salladen. Chokladfoi gras var ganska att titta på och smaka på. Mullen med tungan var allting. Chokladörnen var den enda vanliga saken men kanske för att jag valde choklad två gånger. Jag skulle definitivt gå igen.
