Visited twice, once on Christmas Eve to treat myself. That visit I ordered the prime rib, rare. Mere moments after I ordered, the server quickly returned to inform me that the chef did not have enough prime rib that was rare to offer, but could perhaps offer medium rare. Would that be okay?? How about THAT for care of service, food, and customer satisfaction??!! Most places would not have given any thought of the difference and just served it. Many others don’t even know or care. It was exactly as described and delicious. In the meantime I had the signature Palm salad with hearts of palm. A bit heavy on the dressing, but very flavorful with great texture. I opted for the classic mashed potatoes and they of course paired well with the beef. The sommelier helped me choose a nice red to accompany. I finished with the crème brûlée for a fully stuffed and appreciative dining experience.

My earlier experience led me to return for what many have claimed as the best burger in Mexico City. I’ve been trying hamburgers around town and thought I should give The Palm Waygu burger a try. First of all, it is huge!! Much larger than expected even from the photos. It is also quite rich due to the Waygu, so this is EASILY a two person burger! It was cooked to my order, medium rare and delivered maybe a bit past that. Still juicy and not dry. The bun was very fresh and just lightly grilled to provide a good base for the burger. I cut my burger in half and tried it without garnish first to enjoy the Waygu. The other side I dressed with the supplied lettuce, tomato, and dill pickles. The table was supplied with normal commercial ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. The burger really needed nothing, but a house made flavorful sauce or aioli would’ve been a nice addition. The sommelier came to my rescue, again, with a couple of nice reds to go with the rich beef. The burger comes with a side of fries and these were just a bit undercooked, which was surprising for as well timed as my other dishes. I tried, but could not finish my burger, it was just too much. I ordered a scoop of chocolate house made ice cream to finish. I would be interested in trying or even comparing (with friends!) the regular Palm hamburger with the Palm Waygu burger, sometime.

Service on both visits was exceptional from the moment I walked in. Let me add that I was somewhat underdressed on both occasions, as I’m traveling, but was treated with utmost care. It may look stuffy from the outside but my experiences were both very warm and professional. Two servers even recognized me from my previous visit and greeted me. The Palm is expensive in any location, but I feel that the food and service met the price charged on both occasions, especially the service.

Good, but not kid friendly.

We really like the food here, it’s reliable and excellent American steakhouse food. The service is quite good as well. I’m taking a star off because they won’t let you sit on the lovely outdoor terrace if you have kids.

It’s pretty ridiculous in my mind that this place would rather cater to a few smokers than to families…especially since we said we didn’t care and just wanted to sit out there, having specifically reserved an outdoor table.

The restaurant did some good things to make up for our frustration, and our kids love the food so maybe we’ll go back…but I’d honestly suggest just picking one of the many other lovely restaurants around the area that have nice outdoor seating and welcome families with open arms instead of dumb rules.

The service was impeccable. My porterhouse steak was quite good. I also ordered a nova scotia lobster. In the picture, it is an entire lobster. What I got was a lobster tail. It was about four inches long, two inches wide. I don't know if you're familiar with the steak seafood chain in america, it's called the Sizzler, but it was absolutely no larger than a lobster tail, I would get from them. I did not touch the lobster and told him I was not paying for it. They were very kind and understanding.
I honestly should've spoke to whoever was in charge.
For the price, the size of this lobster tail was absolutely embarrassing. Not to mention, I ordered the nova scotia lobster. Not just the tail.

Came here for Thanksgiving dinner and we where very impressed. Service was top notch. Very friendly and catered to our every need.
The food was delicious, from the bread at the start all the way to the the fantastic pumpkin pie at the end. Every dish tasted great, hats off to the chef. While a bit Pruett for a turkey dinner, well worth it in my opinion.

Jag gillar hamburgaren för att den är så god, även de franska eldarna. Efterrätten var perfekt, en av de bästa jag ätit. Jag kommer deffenetly gå tillbaka

Beläget i Intercontinental Hotel, bokade jag det som de har en prix - fixe för den amerikanska semestern. Jag kom vid 18:00 och vid 20:00 restaurangen var full. Jag åt deras apelsin boulevardier som var jättebra. Även om jag hade bett att få min cocktail först, hade de en timme senare inte börjat servera måltiden, så jag var tvungen att uppmana dem. Måltiden var dock mycket bra: hussallad, musselchowder. , kalkon, fyllning, sötpotatispuré, gröna bönor, rostade brysselkål, ostrigatoni och pumpaostkaka. Lobbybaren var helt hopping på väg ut.

Palm Restaurant är en plats att besöka om och om igen. Kocken Jose Luis Sanchez Ronquillo är exceptionell. Hela menyn är utsökt och noga genomtänkt för att ge en kulinarisk upplevelse på högsta nivå. Servicen av personalen, som leds av chefer Alejandro och Elias, är top - notch, eftersom de alltid är uppmärksamma på dina önskemål med snabbhet och effektivitet. M fru och jag är från utanför stan och medan vi var i Mexico City för affärer, vi gick till denna restaurang två gånger samma vecka. Första gången var stället inte upptaget och fick bra service tillsammans med kvaliteten på maten. På grund av den första erfarenheten, beslutade vi att gå igen för en andra gång för helgen för att hitta besvikelse. Värdinnan, även om vänlig, fick oss att känna som om vi skulle gå in i ett förbjudet palats. Servitören var snäll och gjorde bara i princip sitt jobb och tog inte med sig de där krutong brödbitarna till vår carpaccio som vi fick på vårt första besök. Vår biff och pasta var okej. Jag skulle säga medelmåttig, men det som verkligen träffade bollen ut ur parken var en matexplosion som kom precis vid vårt bord när denna servitris tappade några rätter från en bricka hon plockade upp! Pojken var så högljudd! Jag vet att olyckor händer och klagade inte ens efter att ha fått mina skor och byxor fläckade med lite grädde och samma sak händer för min fru att få sin jacka fläckad också. Restaurangchefen framförde sina ursäkter och erbjöd en kompletterande spiked kaffe för den oväntade upplevelsen. Anledningen till att jag ger en enda fylld cirkel till recensionen är för att jag på checken debiterades för det kompletterande kaffet och var tvungen att säga till dem att rätta till det. Så pinsamt!

Enastående service! All personal var vänlig och hjälpsam. Särskilt tack till General Manager, Mr Elias för den stora servicen! Åker tillbaka för hummerrullen och morotstårtan!

Hamburgaren var utsökt, Edgar gav oss en utmärkt service och cheesecake var fantastisk. Jag skulle älska att vara tillbaka.

Definitivt de bästa hamburgarna jag har provat hittills. Jag hade Applewood & Bourbon Burger (400 g) och min flickvän Brisket & Rib eye (400 g), båda perfekt grillad och med pommes frites på sidan. Det certifierade prime köttet var värt priset, och vi tog till och med hälften av varje hamburgare att gå. Uppmärksamheten var överlägsen och omgivande förtjusande. Fem stjärnor restaurang i alla aspekter du funderar på att äta. Högt rekommenderad.

Jag hade de korta revbenen som var enorma, men mycket bra. Alla portioner på detta hotell är stora (kom ihåg). Trevlig flaska vin och bra desserter. Personalen är utmärkt!

Denna plats är känd för sina fina biffar, men de hävdar att de har bästa hamburgarna i Mexiko; och jag var tvungen att försöka. . . De är definitivt de bästa hamburgarna i staden, 400 gr mycket fint nötkött på ett briochebröd. Jag rekommenderar dig att dela den, eftersom den är enorm. Om du inte hamburgare finns det många fler alternativ, inklusive läckra styckningar, soppor och sallader. Platsen är ganska dyr men helt värt det. Tjänsten är oklanderlig.
