We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Matilda! The service was beyond incredible — the best we’ve ever experienced, and we travel often! Gustavo, Carlos and the entire concierge staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. They genuinely cared about enhancing our experience in San Miguel. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect — on a quiet, lovely street with quick proximity to the square, park and restaurants. We’d return to Hotel Matilda in a heartbeat! Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Matilda. The rooms are large and modern, with very comfortable bedding, AC/Heat unit, large smart tv with English speaking channels available, and a gorgeous, large bathroom and shower. The modern gym worked well for us for our 2 day stay and was very clean. The hotel is right next to beautiful Parque Benito Juárez, which is great for running or a nice stroll. The location is just about 5 minutes outside centro but very safe and quiet, and we walked everywhere without concern. What stood out the most though was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were always welcoming and quick to offer help. I particularly want to thank Samantha and staff for assisting me with an urgent business need I had, where I needed to fax sensitive documents. They followed up multiple times for me and were in constant communication, which made a stressful situation much less so. I'm so appreciative of the attention they provided me, which really was above and beyond anything I've experienced elsewhere. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in!! The staff were very friendly and even gave me suggestions where to go.  The room was immaculate!! I highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in San Miguel de Allende.

The moment you walk in you are greeted by the smiling staff. The hotel's lobby feels like an Art Gallery! The spa is an Oasis and the Mural of Matilda behind the pool is spectacular and the Monkey Bar Mixologist creates delicious libations to sip by the pool. Our room had a beautiful private balcony where we had dinner prepared by a Michelin Star Chef, Vicente Torres. It is one of the few times that we actually spent more time in the hotel than out sightseeing. It is the perfect couples getaway!
