The BellView is a lovely boutique hotel. The property is stunning and the views from the rooms, pool, and restaurant are unbeatable. We had fun spending an afternoon lounging by the infinity pool. The rooms are large and cozy. Ours, a deluxe room, had a nice sized patio and small courtyard with a direct view of the Church.

One thing to consider, is that the shower we had was antiquated. Very limited hot water (like 30 seconds worth) and the shower head barely worked. We did express this to the staff, but no resolution during our stay. Given it's a historic building and a small operation, perhaps that is the norm. Small thing though that did not stop us from having a wonderful stay!

Rooms were super cute, only downfall was the bathroom area. The whole top was opened so you were able to hear everything going on outside the bathroom and vice versa, it was just a little odd. The hotel is next to a church, the church’s bells went off every 30mts; we were there a Sunday & the bells started like at 4 or 5am and lasted all day. The staff was a little rude when we were checking out. I’m pretty sure they didn’t think we spoke Spanish, we do.

Hotel has interesting rooms, we liked them a lot. Hot water was not good (not terrible, but not good) and the area is very loud as church bells chime at random times through the night. Difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper.

We just checked out of the Bell View Hotel, and cannot possibly express how much we enjoyed our visit. The food at the restaurant is fabulous. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is superb with an amazing view. We have stayed in numerous resorts in PV and Nuevo including Vidanta. This was a whole different experience and incredibly enjoyable.

And the staff is over-the-top. They were so accommodating and helpful. Special acknowledgment to go to Julio and Juan in the restaurant and the wonderful girls at the front desk. You guys are awesome and we can’t wait to come back next summer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, however if you want quiet, this is NOT the place. The restaurant is directly adjacent to the rooms and each there is musical entertainment. It’s very very loud and disruptive. I chose this hotel since it is away from the busy nightlife and what we got was a live concert each and every night. The owner has no regard for the guests staying there. To make it worse, the patrons of the restaurant feel compelled to ring the church bells which are about 20 feet from your room. Nice huh? I had a headache for 5 days. Avoid staying here if you want to relax in peace.
