Really should have read the reviews before going to this place. What an awful experience. The hostess was extremely rude. We arrived a little before our reservation time along with another couple, and were greeted by a sour faced and grim lady who seemed very put out that she had to deal with customers. She blocked our way up the stairs until we gave our name for the reservation (and seemed disappointed we actually had one). Had thought it might just be us, but watching others arrive she treated everyone with similar contempt. Witnessed a really heart breaking scene when she banned a child because he was wearing slider shoes (not flip flops or crocs as per dress code). He was all dressed up in a cute little jacket and was in tears leaving as their entire party was not allowed in. We should have taken the hint then and left ourselves as it didn't get better from there.
This place only seems to be popular because of the movie star link - and age group of customers would support that theory. There are better ways of enjoying Liz Taylor than going to this utterly horrible restaurant.

Was recommended to come to Casa Kimberly during our stay. We wanted to stop by for a glass of wine. We did a walk in and were accommodated in the out door patio near the fountain. It was a gorgeous view. Raul was very helpful and taught us a lot about the wines we tried that night. We were also lucky to have the mariachi near us

For a special occasion, we treated ourselves to the VIP suite and dinner at the Iguana restaurant on-site. Words cannot describe the service, and  the incredible views from our wrap-around terrace room of the ocean, mountains and the city. We ordered room service for breakfast and enjoyed it on the terrace. Everything was so romantic!

Christmas Eve 2024 was pretty disappointing at this Michelin star restaurant. The reservation was made three months in advance. The hostess would not let the two gentlemen at my table into the restaurant in their sleeveless dress shirts.  She provided two cover shirts but then insisted on them leaving their ‘personal ID’ and hesitatingly accepted their upscale resort membership card when their ID was not with them?  I guess they thought we could afford the meal but were irresponsible in returning the shirts, perhaps? These young professionals recently dined at a Michelin Star restaurant in Austria and wanted to treat this senior citizen and mom to a wonderful xmas eve meal.  Unfortunately, they sat us by the kitchen, provided average service and food and the music was very loud.  Personally, I would not recommend this as an upscale dining experience. They need better staff training that includes logical thinking.

We had booked a birthday dinner here, drove for over 1 hour with children, to be told the children couldn't come in due to having rubber shoes on. The host was very abrupt about this and made us all feel very un welcome. We was a party of seven from Ireland and England and one of the guests was very exited to try here for Thier birthday. We was all dressed in evening attire.The host did everything she could to not have us there you could see she actually couldn't be bothered to help us, however we found an excellent place nearby that accomodated us all and celebration's went ahead.
