What a great stay we had with our friends. Service was outstanding from the moment we got there until we left. A special thanks to Victor for the Lobster. Adrian and Montiel at the pool were outstanding. And Javier took great care of us at breakfast every day. Bernardo at the bar was also outstanding. I have never seen so much constant cleaning around a property. Do not believe the negative reviews you may see as I think those people would complain if it were Free. We will be back.

Wonderful place! All staff were wonderful and very sweet. Two that stood out to me was Fernando at the pool bar and Carl at dinner. The buffet food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is just OK. The food is a hit or miss. However the food by the pool is the best! The fries and hotdogs are superior and the perfect meal for swimming, I would recommend eating there during the day. The room was clean and always cleaned/restocked in a timely manner. If you are thinking about coming, do it! I have nothing bad to say about this place.

First time in Cancun, a friend recommended this hotel.  The lobby is big and nice, lots of purple colour. Reserved a high floor full ocean view room, quite large with beautiful view, house keeping person always get the room fresh every day. The server Collado is so far the best server in the hotel. Foods are delicious. Overall experience was great!

The only complaint that I have about this hotel is that we didn't have hot water coming out of the shower.  It was almost lukewarm.  But other than that, the rooms are very nice.(Adults Only side w/jacuzzi). I love the purple throughout the resort.  The customer service is excellent.  You are greeted as soon as you arrive until the day you leave.  Alex is the man (doorman)!  Very informative and sweet!  The resort is not too far from the airport and close to the party district.  The waiters and waitresses were nice. The buffet was cool.  They have a variety to choose from.  We only tried one restaurant which was the steakhouse.  We all got the surf & turf.  It was good but nothing to write home about.  We only made it to one of the parties held at the resort.  The Pink Party was really cool.  The beach was nice.  We enjoyed ourselves at the Adults Only pool.  The unlimited drinks were a plus.  We didn't want to leave.  We want to go back. Thank you for everything Riu Peninsula Palace!

Amazing place to stay, I definitely recommend. The staff and workers were great and extremely polite. Me and my family had a great time going to the pool and beach. We also went jet skiing nearby. The food was diverse and tasted great! However, our indoor jacuzzi wasn't working and would blast water all over the room. Overall my family and I loved staying here and would definitely would come again.
