Excellent sophisticated meal. Very good food, with good vegetarian options too. Good service, friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was that the food was served a little too quickly. We could easily have spent more time here, the setting is lovely.
I had the roasted carrots and the broken beet. My husband had the hamachi tiradito and the black cod. Everything is cooked to perfection.
It's a bit more expensive here, but you get what you pay for.

Great food executed very well. The fish dishes are the way to go. The timings of the kitchen are on par as the food was perfect even with a full restaurant. As with everything else in Tulum I just feel it just lacks some personality to set it apart.

You'll even notice tables of strangers exchanging knowing glances, united in the realization that they've stumbled upon something memorable. The service matches the setting, elegant without pretension.

The chargrilled carrot with a smoky char, lounging adjacent to a pool of lemongrass aioli that cuts through the char’s richness while the garlic vinaigrette provides a punchy kick. The sweet potato agrodolce followed—a combination of sweet potato, local squash, wild ginger, peanuts, with every element working in tandem.

The caribbean cabbage, fermented with cuban mojo and served with macadamia nut cream and farofa, could convert any cabbage skeptic. It was a standout in flavor but also a feast for the eyes, offering a creamy textural contrast. The la cabaña quail, bathed in mole negro, was a delicate, gamey bird packed with bold, earthy flavors.

For seafood lovers, the caribbean fresh fish is a must-try. It arrived proudly wearing its crown of crispy yuca chips while the creamed yuca underneath was so smooth and comforting. The vascal sauce brought it all together with dry chili heat that lingered for a few seconds. Don’t miss the octopus—it’s tender, flavorful, with just the right amount of chew. A perfect appetizer or shared dish.

For dessert, the barbecued pineapple I was unsure on but I quickly relished in my decision after the first bite. Paired with almond cake, whipped cream, and caramelized white chocolate,  it leaves a sweet, lasting impression. Lastly, let’s not overlook the cocktails—truly A-plus all around, exactly what you need on a sultry evening. Refreshing, inventive, and perfectly boozy. Since I was in Mexico, it only felt right to indulge in mezcal and tequila.

We held our wedding here at Nu with the help of Destination Weddings Tulum and it was absolutely incredible! It honestly exceeded our expectations. The venue is stunning - it’s outdoor, but covered and lush with plenty of room for guests & gorgeous in its design. The staff was also incredible. They were so attentive and totally on their game. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! All of our guests raved about it. They hand carved a fresh sea bass - caught just that day - right at each table. Everything was served family-style which we loved, with plenty of sides for everyone. The short rib was also incredible and we are still thinking about it! The bartenders are all professional mixologists, and the drinks could not have been better. Our wedding was held in the upstairs area where everyone could watch sunset during our ceremony. We would recommend this experience to anyone! We honestly had the best wedding experience and will remember it forever. Thank you to everyone at Nu for making our day so special!

The food at our dining experience was simply phenomenal, leaving us in a state of bliss with each delicious dish. Our waiter, Eduardo, provided exceptional service by expertly presenting the menu and recommending the most exquisite tequila we've ever sampled. It was an all-around beautiful experience that exceeded our expectations.
