I just had the most amazing dining experience! To start, I ordered the spinach-stuffed cheese bread, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread had a wonderful flaky and buttery texture, and the garlic Parmesan dipping sauce was fantastic! For the main course, I got a thin-crust veggie pizza, while my husband enjoyed a classic deep-dish plus pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas had delicious crusts and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was great, with our attentive waitress making sure we got our pizza order in on time to take it to go.

As for the atmosphere, it has a nostalgic feel reminiscent of old-school diners, but it could use some more classic charm. The music didn't quite match the vibe, and the lighting was a bit on the dark side. However, the seating was comfortable and spacious, making it a great spot for any kind of group. I would definitely recommend this place!

Was in the neighborhood and decided to try this place based of the Google reviews...... unfortunately the food let me down 😞. Important to mention we didn't have time to try the pizza. Will hopefully return to see if that is the diamond in the restaurant. Beautiful building in a great location, instantly greeted when you walk in. We were seated within seconds,the waiter was awesome and friendly. We tried the Beef sandwich and the The Louie on this visit. Starting with the Louie, the sauce was interesting. Watery and thick at the same time. And weirdly enough the sauce didn't have any flavor. As for the beef sandwich it has good flavor,the dipping sauce was extremely salty. The potato wedges had a weird flavor,I'm guessing freezer burn. Great service, great atmosphere just ehhhh food.

For my daughters birthday she chose to go here, so we made a reservation.  Upon arrival we found the place nice and clean, not a lot of people due to a different unofficial holiday. We got seated and right away Sam came by to get our drink order right away we told him we wanted a deep dish (because they take time). He brought us our appetizers and everything was well. The pizza arrived and they served it for us probably because it's hot and can easily fall... My slice of pizza had some spots where the dough was not cooked all the way, but overall it was very good. There was a large family close to us making a lot of ruckus and the not fully cooked pizza for the  4 star.  Definitely will try again 👍

The pizza is heavy and lacks proper preparation for the price. The value is not here…The toppings are not spread out evenly on the pizza, the crust edges are dry, and the can of tomatoes could use some fresh herbs after it comes out of the oven. I have had the experience of the frozen take home pizza, cooked take home pizza, and eat in.

As I'm from Chicago I know my pizza, and it's a shame that Lou's has altered the recipe to make it a smaller deep dish with less crust all in the name of profit [this was confirmed by manager].  You used to have to use a knife to cut it, but now they don't even give a knife as it is not necessary to cut through the thin crust.  What a shame that a decades-long tradition and reputation has gone done the drain!!!  Don't get me wrong, it still tastes great, but one can just order the thin crust for the same experience with just no rim of crust. [picture #1 with plates and silverware are the original before recipe change, picture #2 is the new unimproved recipe]
