This place is an absolute gem! Nestled within the charming walls of an old church, it offers a unique atmosphere that truly transports you back in time. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in a warm, inviting ambiance that feels both nostalgic and vibrant.

Our server, Frank, was the icing on the cake. He was not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. This restaurant gave me hope that there are cute restaurants in Phoenix and it’s not just an endless sinkhole of chain restaurants. In fact, it is possibly the most unique place I have ate at in Phoenix in terms of atmosphere. The vibe is immaculate.  All staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.  There is a good selection of mixed drinks, and local draft beer. The empanadas were our favorite dish of the night. Although I enjoyed all of my tacos thoroughly and it was noted they hand make their corn tortillas. Prices are per taco so plan to spend about $$-$$$ depending on your party size and orders.  But possibly the best surprise was how much meat was in each taco. I’m not sure I could eat more than 1-2 if I had a shared appetizer and dessert (but I also eat fairly small to moderate portions). If you’re looking for a bang for your buck, I’m not sure this would fit that bill. But it sure is a great place to take folks visiting from out of town for some delicious contemporary tacos, or a cute date night. I definitely plan to eat here again.

Came with my mentor and it was sooo beautiful. The details and the Tiffany glass, they kept some of the previously church layout such as windows, ceiling wood beams and etc. Surprisingly the food was amazing, I tried barbacoa taco in a lettuce cup. Almost forgot to mention their chips and salsa, although spicy was sooo tasty! You must try this spot!

11/10 food. Got the cherry beef tacos and pork and kimchi tacos. Some of the best flavor combinations I've ever had and reasonably priced for the quality. Super fun atmosphere with the old church decorations. 100% recommend. Will absolutely be back!

Okay, do yourself a favor and only come here at night time. The restaurant loses some of its magic in the day time. Anyway, the green chili queso is amazing. Tacos- Street Style Carnitas, very salty. Barbacoa, yummy. California…something (can’t remember the name), very tasty and would 100% get again. Their chips and salsas are also delicious. They have the perfect amount of saltiness and spice. Lastly, skip the street corn, it’s very mid.
