They serve most delicious south Indian food in town. Food quality is really good and they are comparatively cheap than other restaurants. They also offer buffet in lunch for $13. They also have large parking space. I've been there twice so far and both time I had great experiences.

Great food on the lunch buffet. Everything was properly prepared and fresh. The location is comfortable, but they could do a little for atmosphere. There was no music or television playing, so it seemed over quiet. The gentleman that helped us was friendly, but we never knew his name. I realize it was buffet time, but wouldn't have minded being upsold something, like a drink other than water. Overall, would return.

I wwould like to rate the "food experience" here! It was the best of what I have seen in Tempe and was worth the visit. I would certainly suggest you to try Amaravati for some authentic Indian cuisine with real spices :D The ambiance was good and the place was clean. However, the service had its flaws despite the lady helping us with the selection of dishes and the cheerful approach. But there were lack of napkins (even in the Men's room) and the attention was not there at times.
Overall experience was good with the food. You may face some uneasiness with other requirements which would have to be compromised on.

20th July 2018 : Once again, the food was awesome. The service could be better with bit of confusion running around :) 4 of us were there with enough plates and cutlery. I don't know why the attender took away one set leaving behind only 3. Also, I don't know if it was because a friday evening and busy hours that none was there to attend while we reached the restaurant. It felt like there was a lack of staff.

19th August 2018 : This time, I tried the buffet. Decent number of options for veg. and non-veg. The taste and quality was good in general. However, one of the staff was rude with us saying that he was busy. When my colleague requested to pack the extra items ordered outside the buffet menu, he meant to get a box. And the staff could have just done the same without the comment. I don't know what he would have done if it was a non-Indian. But, it was offensive from the customer's end although we acknowledge the busy schedule that the restaurant has on a weekend, probably due to the lack of number of staff as pointed out in my earlier review. Also, I ordered a dosa and I didn't receive it. Probably, they were busy with the overwhelming incoming order. It was a 4/5 until now and I would like to give a 3/5 based on the recent update.

Stopped in for lunch recently with a friend and we’ll definitely be back, the food was great! I agree with another review that it was a little quiet, but then some music came on. We were there after the buffet time, but I’d definitely check it out next time. The garlic naan was delish!

The restaurant is fantastic and clean.
