A truly unique dining experience. is not your average Thai joint! Go here for the northern Thai specialties. The khao soi is unforgettable. This One of my top must-try places in Long Beach! The Michelin recognition is 100% deserved.

Just finished an incredible meal at this tiny Thai place in Long Beach. Wait times can be very long, but there are a few bars nearby you can hang out in while you wait for your table. We ordered quite a few dishes and none of them disappointed. Stand outs were the spicy mama noodles and the Khao Soi chicken soup. Only negative was that the chicken in the dishes was a bit overcooked as they primarily use white meat. Highly recommend and would love to go again.

Food: SUPERB. The portions are huge, and everything we ordered was tasty and authentic. Khao Soi was amazing, served with pickled cabbage, definitely a must-try. The sticky rice that came with the som tam and fried chicken was incredibly tender and fragrant.

Location: Easy to find but difficult to park. We visited on a Friday, and there was a street sweeping from 1:30–3:30 PM, so we had to park pretty far from the restaurant.

Vibe: This place has the genuine feel of a street food spot in Thailand, small, packed, and full of great food.

Service: The restaurant was extremely crowded when we visited. It seemed like they were short-staffed. We tried to get a water refill, but the staff was too busy to attend to it.

I ordered Pad Kee Mao, BBQ Pork & Crispy Pork Noodles, Thai Iced Tea, and Moo Sahm Chan Tod Nam Pla (Fried Marinated Pork). Everything was delicious and above average, though the flavors leaned a bit on the sweeter side. The portions were small, and while no dish stood out significantly, it’s still worth trying if you’re in the area.

Nothing made me love this place, but the food was good enough to keep eating. The oysters and crying tiger were the best dishes That tasted good. I did not like their version of green tea (It seemed it was made with dairy , mint and some other flavors)
The wait time was long. Even though when we got there there were only two or three other tables, we waited 32 min. When we noticed our table being skipped, we had to call someone over to take our order. The waitress came and left only one cup of water; she said she would be back, she never came back with more cups of water until more time had passed by. I’m not sure how long it took to finally get our food, but by the time it finally did our table was filled with full and empty cups which none were cleared off the table. Also the food was barely hot when it arrived. No one checked in on us. I wanted to say something about the noodles tasting undercooked.

I was excited to come try the food here because of its Michelin star status, but I personally did not see how they had earned that.

Even getting the bill took long.
