During happy hours, prices are decent.
Food is alright, nothing fancy but good portions.
Service is a bit strange, a huge difference of treatment if you don't look like a billionaire.
During the day pool and bar should be separated, you can't relax with someone asking every 5 min if you want to order.

Fun little rooftop bar in the middle of DTLA! The drinks and views at this place are amazing. While the cocktails are tasty, the menu as a whole is a little pricey, especially for the food. When I was there service was a little slow and it took a while to get out orders.

Avoid visiting on a sunny day. Shaded areas are sparse and the view from above is not as nice. Drinks were decent. If you hangout by the bar watch out for bees. They kept flying by us to sit on the bar alcohol and our fruit.

Better rooftop views,  comfortable sitting.
This rooftop bar has much better open and pretty views than other rooftops!
It is located close to the clean and safe part of the downtown Los Angeles.   It is also close to the major tall and beautiful commercial and apartment buildings, so the view is much better than other rooftops.
The most important thing about this bar, it is that it has a lot of lounge chairs around the rooftop swimming pool and it is very comfortable to lay down after a meal.
Even though the swimming pool is very small and not heated,  but it is still pretty and soothing to look at it.
The bar foods are rather ordinary and the price is average.  However,  they do charge the service fee and health fees,  so your final bill will be 20 % more.
After all,  it is still better than other rooftops and I certainly will come back to this place again.

Loved coming here for happy hour on a Tuesday! Easily got a lounge chair and serviced immediately. Pool wasn't over crowded and the giant rubber duck float/raft was fun to lay on. The music was very tiki bar style and the drinks were tasty and strong. Still a bit pricey in my opinion, but worth it if you're celebrating something and want to relax in a slightly bougie way.

Gick med min fru för drycker efter att ha tillbringat dagen i Arts District. Denna takbar i centrum av DTLA är en sådan fantastisk plats. Stämningen var mysig, vänlig och händer. Och stämningen bäst! Trots ett parti på 10 som kontinuerligt beställer drycker den tid det tog servern och bartendern att lura sig bort från chit - chatta för att servera vår grupp oacceptabelt. Vad de brände för arom var avvisande. Kommer inte tillbaka, många andra hustakar som är villiga att tillhandahålla utmärkt service till samma prispunkt.

Meh! Genomsnittligt anständigt ställe. Socker drinkar. Musiken var mycket låg, kunde knappt höra. Det bästa med denna plats är landskapet. Takbar, sval LA-bris på sommaren, med utsikt över DTLA. . . . . .

Vi beställde ett par cocktails som vi knappt kunde avsluta, så då beställde vi en gin och tonic med tanke på att de inte kan få det fel, och fick gin och sodavatten. Det är också mycket trångt.

Den enda återlösande faktorn är vyn.

Beläget på toppen av det fria hotellet, de har betjänad för $ 10 eller det finns en parkeringsplats mindre än 300 ft bort för $ 6. Taket är dopp, det finns en pool för hotellets gäst. Utrymmet är litet om du kommer på fredag satt eller solen är beredd att stå och vänta på att någon ska lämna så att du kan få några platser, atmosfären är fantastisk tho. Dryckerna är vanligtvis prissatta från $ 10 till $ 20 som är vanliga i downtown LA. De har små biter som är dope för delning. Vi åkte hit (toppen av Freehand Hotel) på en söndag kväll för ett par drinkar. Min man och jag (mitten av 50 s) var definitivt åldrarna, men det var inte obekväma. Vi hade två fina stolar av poolen på taket för att se skyline, och vi hade ett par öl. Avslappnad klädsel. Priset är jämförbart med andra LA barer för drycker. Mixedryckmenyn var väsentlig. Det blir kyligt på natten - - ta med en jacka - även om baren hade några mexikanska filtar du kan använda. Verkligen haft vår tid där.

En stor takterrass med bra cocktails med fantastisk utsikt. Bra atmosfär, bra personal. En härlig plats. Värt ett besök.

Jag har upptäckt att det finns många hotellbarer på hustak i LA. Detta är en av dessa barer. Utrymmet är fantastiskt, och inredningen är fantastisk. Atmosfären verkade verkligen avslappnad och dryckerna var vackra och läckra. Men åh, tjänsten var inte bra.

Både värdinna och server var kalla och ovälkomliga. Servern verkade i synnerhet glömma att varje tabell i vår del även fanns. Bordet bredvid mig var tvungen att flagga någon annan bara för att få en meny.
Jag hade funderat på att få en andra drink, och till och med lite mat, men efter 40 minuter av att helt ignoreras, bestämde jag mig för att inte ge dem mer pengar. Återigen var tvungen att flagga ner servern för att få kontrollen.

Det här är inte din typiska "vackra människor" på taket, men i stället verkade ganska öppen för alla sorters människor. Bra drycker, bra mellanmål och riktigt roligt poolscen. Bra dj med en bred mix av musik. Kan bli lite trångt men rensas ofta av 630 pm så att du kan få lite utrymme då.

Denna bar har ett utmärkt läge i centrala LA. Utsikten över byggnaderna och takpoolen är fantastiska! Servitrisen Allison var super söt, hade exceptionell service och kunniga om alla drycker som erbjuds. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka!

Deras mat meny är inte mycket omfattande, ungefär 10 objekt, men jag skulle rekommendera nachos och äggrullar. Hamburgarna var också mycket bra. Om du vill ha mer variation i mat, gå någon annanstans, men det kommer bli svårt att översta utsikten härifrån.

Min vän föreslog att vi träffade den här nya takbaren i DTLA, och jag är glad att han gjorde det. Broken Shaker är på 8: e Olive & Broadway i DTLA på taket på Freehand Hotel. De har ett tropiskt tema och erbjuder ett antal lätta saker att äta.

Craft cocktails är specialitet här, så min vän beställde fru Roper ($ 14). För de som är gamla för att komma ihåg, är drycken namngiven efter hyresvärdens fru i Threes Company. Det är en rumkoncoktion som serveras i froo froo-glas. Det var ganska konversationsbiten bc, många kvinnor frågade min vän, "Vad är det?": 4 Stjärnor.

Jag fastnade på min tequila & soda med söta drycker ger dig en baksmälla. De hade Forteleza tequila ($ 16). Bartendern häller med en tung hand: 4 Stjärnor.

Jag var hungrig, så jag beställde veggie äggrullar ($ 10) och chips & guac ($ 8). Medan programmen var rimligt prissatta, var de bara OK. Det var inget speciellt med dem: 3 stjärnor.

Men det som verkligen stod ut var den utmärkta servicen från Allison. Allison haglar från D. C. hon tog riktigt bra hand om oss 5 +++++ Stjärnor för Allison.
