PSA: THEY DONT SERVE FRENCH ONION SOUP FOR BRUNCH/LUNCH DURING THE WEEKEND!

For a place known for its french onion soup, it's baffling that they don't serve it in the afternoon for brunch and lunch. The other breakfast items are not bad, with my go to being the Lumiere breakfast (ham and egg Dutch baby). The service we had was impeccable and our server Juan, tried to make our visit enjoyable.

I am in such delight to have found this hidden gem in Los Angeles.
I travel to France every single year and Brasseries are an everyday essential. Lumiere makes me feel like I’m in Paris.

The service here is absolutely fantastic. My server’s name is STACEY ,who is kind and sweet and very very professional in her service! Her Placement of tableware is done with a gentle professionalism you would find usually in a three star Michelin restaurant! Her attention to detail is very much appreciated!

The food is delicious! The onion soup is a must have! It is hearty, brings you back to your childhood when mom or grandma cooked that delicious soup that warms your heart! My compliments to the chef!

The atmosphere is the kind of elegant chic style you would find in Paris. Clean bathrooms and clean environment. I’m very sensitive to dust and hate dirty bathrooms. Lumiere’s Asian Manager does an excellent job of making sure everything is top notch!

Valet service here at the hotel is excellent and professional!  NOT the kind of crappy sidewalk valet service you get from those mediocre restaurants like Cipriani’s or Spago ( those valet guys are hired off the street and probably never drove a car before…. I have experience where they damaged my car before!)

It's a French restaurant I went to on the anniversary. The food is delicious. It was a little cold inside. It was a little uncomfortable because the desk was sminging. But the atmosphere is good, you can go out after eating and have a drink at the hotel bar. The valet fee is very expensive. You can stay for 4 hours for an expensive valet fee. I forget to take main dish which is shortbone tomahawk. And I ate beef tartare, pear&pistachio salad, french onion soup.

I attended the camphor event here. The meat was divine. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking. The fries were frozen, not fresh cut. Bread+butter, drinks, and the dessert were great. The hotel lobby staff do not really give the most high-end vibes. I don't enjoy being "bro"d by the door man. Also, the way he was giving directions to the restroom by standing where he is and yelling, "Go go go go, go more, go more on your left," not very luxurious. At a place of this rate, I expect to be escorted and shown the door not get directions yelled at me. They also locked the doors while I still had food on my table because the restaurant closed and I stepped out to use the restroom and there was no way to get back in so I'm standing there waiting for someone to call security and the same door man yells from where he's standing "the security might do you a favor and come open the door". Oh, and the bell boy didn't turn our keys to valet, and we stood there for a few minutes while they scrambled to find out what happened to our key. Overall, great food and atmosphere in the restaurant but if someone doesn't keep the hotel staff on check for acting low class, it is not worth the return.
