This is a quaint spot. Kind of in a strange location but there is history there. They have 3 seating areas.  Too cold to sit outside when we went. The server was very pleasant & upbeat. The dining area we were in was a bit cold since the door was opening & closing every few mins. I do not suggest you sit by the door. The drinks were tasty. The food was good. I'd definitely try other items. I hear the burger is outstanding and the trout almondine. Next time I would save room for dessert.

Place epitomizes a triumph. From the crab mousaline to the French onion soup. The omlette and the souffle'!!! We also had the steak frittes. Next time I'll go another route there but I was in the mood. Again one of the better meals I have enjoyed in a long long long time. Thanks Ludo and the gang!!!!

A genuinely remarkable restaurant all around- remarkable food, remarkable staff, remarkable ambiance & vibe. Incredible attention to detail and care was shown by everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with- the kitchen crew, the servers, bartenders, maître d’, etc. If you have any reservations about sitting at the bar area facing the line, don’t walk but RUN to a stool and prepare to have a one-of-a-kind experience watching how seamlessly they crank out the prettiest/tastiest dishes. And while I wouldn’t want to burden ‘em by saying you should talk to them (they’re working after all), they were kind enough to entertain my questions/quips and made me feel right at home. 10/10 across the board. Particular shout out to Sous Chef Marco & Line Cook Aidan- if you happen to come in on a night where they’re working, you’re really in for a treat(:

It is one of my favourite places if I crave a French atmosphere. I love that they have an open kitchen, and when I sit at the bar, I can watch how everything is getting prepared - it’s a huge bonus, in my opinion.

this review comes after two wonderful dining experiences here, one being a dinner service and the other being a Saturday brunch service.

both times, i indulged in the Big Mec with my two different dining companions. my word. crucial. the bordelaise brings it all together.

Saturday’s brunch went into much more delectable depth:
- the smoked salmon benedict omelette atop a perfect sourdough and topped with creme fraiche, scallion and caper berry
- warm, chocolate-in-every-bite croissant
- cappuccino et latte chaud
- Burgundy escargot caressed with garlic butter alongside sourdough crostini
- refreshing house sangria
- superbly balanced crème brûlée

all brought together by kind service from our lovely man Ibrahim, who you must request,
