The BBQ is not bad and I would rate it as one of the better ones in the Bay Area that I’ve been to. That’s not a high standard though as the BBQ action in this area is a bit weak and pricy. The location is convenient to other foods, retail and a lot of parking. Unlike many other dishes, BBQ thrives on authenticity and craftsmanship. It’s hard to explain yet easy to identify. If your BBQ shop isn’t smoking, it’s probably not delivering.

Stopped in the Pig in pickle, was hungry six ribs half chicken, quarter pound of brisket and some coleslaw, tallow chips and an unsweetened iced tea. That was outstanding. Highly recommended if you like barbecue. I just wish their bbq sauce had more consistency.

Average BBQ with a decent selection of sides and sauces. We opted for a family meal with pulled pork, brisket and ribs. Nothing really stood out either good or bad. Probably wouldn't come back though.

Service was horrible, the bartender specifically. I am unsure if he is the manager but he was bald. The moment we walked in he started to be very obnoxious with us. When my ribs came out there was no meat on the bone. My friend who also got the ribs had plenty of meat and when I asked if I could possibly get another order he told me to take my friends off his plate. I don’t know if he ate the ribs before they came out but there was no meat.
