Very pleasant ambience, service was fast and friendly. The Mediterranean food was excellent. Very good quality and quality, too. Was glad to have atleast 3 vegetarian options.

My favorite San Anselmo eatery. The Deli has luscious options, too. Humus and bread dishes, outstanding. Lamb dishes (both burgers and chops) are incredibly good. The Wagyu steak is perfectly cooked and sided with potatoes, yam, and beans, with rich, savory sauce..

I couldn’t wait to go with my sister to eat at Insala’s as we had many great meals there. What a terrible disappointment. We shared a salad which was not as good as usual, but okay. Then after waiting 30 minutes they finally brought our entree and my chicken dish was horrible. It was dry and tasteless. I was so dissaponted.

The mussel was much more yummy than I thought.  The tuna salad was pretty fresh, flavorful, especially the green Oliver, elevated the taste. The  lamp skewer with pita was also very delicious, but it has two many greens.

Great menu with diverse options. Good cooking with very fresh ingredients and interesting/unique preparations - they obviously put care into their food. Pleasant dining space and gracious service. A great find!
