Food is always fire, honestly one of my favorite pizza places in the Bay Area. I sometimes order a whole pie ahead of time. It is a great price for how delicious it always tastes and how big the pizza is. Other times I just come in and get a few of their slices that are already made and they warm it up for you. Oh my goodness my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The ingredients always fresh the cheese so gooey and perfection.
Service is always friendly and helpful while being efficient and fast. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Speaking as a native New Yorker this is easily the best pizza I've had on the west coast! Classic flat, crispy crust like a NYC-style pizza with tasty toppings. They will even serve by the slice and tuck it in properly in a brown paper bag (the mark of authenticity!) The salsiccia is spicy but easily the best. If they could heat up the slices a little more it would be perfect.

The slices I had were so perfect on their own that there is no need to make it like a NY slice. This is the Bay Area's hometown pizza! Please come to the South Bay!

We tried the Salsiccia, which features Sicilian sausage, pickled jalapenos, mozzarella, pecorino, and tomato sauce, and the Formaggio, with mozzarella, grana padano, and tomato sauce. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious!

I’ve ordered from Gioia Pizzeria for delivery before, but this was my first time dining in. While the indoor seating is quite limited, there’s a lovely park nearby where you can enjoy your pizza. Overall, a great spot for tasty pizza, whether you choose to dine in or take out.

The Funghi Pie was a winner with roasted Cremini mushrooms, thyme, parsley, garlic oil, Mozzarella, Grana Padano, and tomato sauce – a harmonious blend of earthy flavors that I loved.

The Julian Pie showcased house-made Calabrese sausage, Lacinato kale, red onion, chili flakes, garlic, Mozzarella, and Pecorino, creating a well-balanced and satisfying taste.

The Formaggio Pie, with Mozzarella, Grana Padano, and tomato sauce, highlighted simple ingredients done right.

I love getting pizza at Gioia, the far and few times I do. The last time I came in was with my late pup who was going through some hard times post a vet procedure… heart-wrenching journey to say the least.

Cait and team went above and beyond, making our last days together supported and special. I’m grateful. When I see Gioia or am in the neighborhood now, I remember my pup and the kindness we were shown.

I recently moved to SF from NYC (where the pizza comes from) and I’ve been avoiding pizza entirely since I got here because 1) I don’t like crying in public and 2) some of the pizza shops I’ve walked past here should be brought up on charges for tomato-related crimes. I don’t know I’m not a pizza lawyer. Anyway I finally caved, and I’ll be honest the folks at Gioia make some pretty solid pizza. Clearly fresh ingredients, good flavors, nice chewy crust, and decent prices. Guess this elitist New Yorker will have to find something else to complain about now.

Riktigt trevligt ställe med bra service. Otroligt god Salsicciapizza. Jag kan varmt rekommendera den här restaurangen, for par eller familj. 

Hög ljudvolym, genom musik o glada gästers prat. Helt ok om man är beredd på det. 

Jag älskar det här stället och dess mat, men den service är vanligtvis ganska långsamt (särskilt under den mest hektiska timmar).  Väntan är värt det, men se till att du är i gott sällskap. Den friska mozzarella och tomatsås pizza är bäst på deras meny! Utmärkt återgång låtar och inredningen gör den atmosfär välkomnande och roligt. Det kan bli ganska bullrigt, dock.

Först av allt, vi kom in från utanför stan och hade ingen aning om att vi skulle behöva en reservation före 19:00 på en tisdag på ett område. Dörrkillen var så desperat med att han var tvungen att checka in den tillbaka bara för att komma berätta att vi kunde ha en timme i det gemensamma bord. Verkligen? Men, vår servitör var mycket trevligt och pizza var mycket bra (Huffington Post hade läst igenom den dagen innan vi åkte).  Även om det var nära till lägenheten, vi bodde på, vi valde att åka till en annan del av stan för italienska nästa natt.

Vi gick längs Polk njuta av våra minnen från tidigare resor här och stötte på detta gulliga lilla restaurang. Min gubbe hade fläsk axeln och jag hade pea ravioli. Till dessert vi delade lökglass. Maten var fantastisk. Vi kände oss som om det var en av de bästa måltiderna någonsin ätit någonsin!!! De flesta människor var att beställa pizza, men vi njöt absolut vår måltid. Servicen var fantastisk.

Vi har precis flyttat till området och jag kan se det bli en vanlig kväll för oss. Maten var mycket bra. Vi började med köttbullar och burrata, delas sedan en pizza.

Den enda nackdelen är att du inte kan lägga till din egen pålägg till pizza. De har sin lista över pajer och ett begränsat antal extrasaker kan du lägga till. Med detta sagt, var vi nöjda med vad vi fick och kommer att åka tillbaka.

Åt här på vår resa, inget dåligt att rapportera. Pizzan var i öppet kök inget att dölja, det var bra. Servicen var bra och ölen var kall, det var ganska hektisk vilket innebär lokalbefolkningen måste gilla det. Vi väntade lite till pizza, men det var ganska bra, bra ställe att äta. inget att klaga på. njöt av vår middag.
