Let’s throw this out there right away… I do not eat sandwiches to be healthy… I eat a sandwich to get “exposure” to healthy ingredients while enjoying mouth watering flavor full nitrate added processed meats and cheese….(actually less likely to spread DNA/disease) anyways….

The bread was fresh, flakey, powdery; quality

The Cheese was smooth, round, the right amount of sting… I love how the shop smells of stinky cheese… I am a stinky cheese kind of guy.

I did the Californian with Chips… the habanero salsa has just the right amount of kick, I can still feel it on my lips 12 minutes later.

Ate the whole  thing in half a block… good freaking sandich

Truly amazing. Croissant sandwich was simply phenomenal and the grilled cheese was great too. Absolutely wonderful food.

The sandwiches are great here. The flavor of the various cheeses along with the rest of the veggies and meat mesh very well. I didn't really like the duck sandwich since it had a sweet jam in it but the Italian sandwich and the specials are good

Fished all morning out on Ocean Beach with Little Joe and Hop Sing, caught a lot of Perch and limits of Stripers and ended up giving them all away to a couple of needy families.  It was cold, a little breezy and when the ocean mist hit you all you could think about was a hot grilled ham and cheese from La Fromagerie to warm you up!  So the next time your fish dinner is interrupted by people that are more hungry than you...give them your fish, and go get a big fat grilled ham and cheese from La Fromagerie...the best in the city!

I'll try my best to avoid cheesy puns, but this cafe is as Gouda's it gets.

The ingredients are fresh - you can not only see the cheeses themselves, but the preparation of meals - and the stuff is has great portions to boot.

The staff is friendly and adaptable: despite a lack of pastries I still managed to snag an amazing breakfast sandwich!

All in all, it's a Brie-utiful place for a brunch!
