Had Thursday 3 course lunch. Love the atmosphere and service was definitely top notch. Unfortunately can’t say the food was at the same level. For price over $300 per head and a three star restaurant, I expected more creative menu and elegant presentation. Yet the three courses plus a white truffle noodle as extra were tasty but nothing special. A little disappointing overall. Server told us that gastronomy menu for dinner is very good. Not sure if I should come back though.

Spent a nice night here at Quince. The service team is super attentive and friendly, they asked all my questions. Warm service beginning from the welcome champagne at the door, till the lemon verbena tea at the door before we go. The newly remodeled dining room is cozy and inviting.

The squash, corn and lamb plates are well-balanced, and I like the refreshing tomato and grape plates. We celebrated birthday here, so there is an additional tiramisu for us.

Wonderful place and super recommend!!

By the way, I saw they invited the guests of the table next to us to the kitchen. Not sure if they are chef‘s friends or randomly picked.

If I were to describe the food at Quince in a single word, I would say “bland”.

A few dishes were slightly more than that, but that was the word I kept coming back to over and over again.

Unfortunately, if the expectation is a 3-star quality experience, then the food simply has to be better. Especially considering the price.

Hopefully this review is seen as constructive criticism for the restaurant. Their dishes have potential, but the flavor was just so lacking.

As a highly regarded 3-Michelin Star restaurant, I had been looking forward to dining here but unfortunately I was rather disappointed. Some of the dishes like the edamame soup and pithivier dessert were rather bland and lacked creativity. The fried egg dish was nice, as was the pasta dish. But crucially, the portions were far too small and I left feeling rather hungry, which I don't normally get with Michelin starred restaurants. My lamb main dish was slightly cold, which I don't expect from restaurants of this level. Having paid such an insanely expensive price, I was expecting a lot better.

It is a hard place to get a reservation. We went there anyway and luckily they had a table for us. The a la carte menu is very small, so we decided to go with a 4 course menu. Half of the dishes were unique with perfectly balanced flavors and amazing textures. The other half were very well made but didn't wow us. All of them looked impeccable. The ambience and people working there made this experience very special.
