Been wanting to try for awhile but pricey. I’m ok with paying a higher price for quality food- but honestly was disappointed. Garlic rolls were good, but dry since they charge another $4 for sauce. Pizza was 2/5, tasted more like boxed pizza- only good part was crust and for $17 for a small pizza you’d think it would be better.  I would order again only to try something else- as far as pizza goes I’ll stick to other places. 3/5 stars mostly because everyone’s tastes are different and you should try at least once.

First time I went to visit the restaurant, and while I have not been t ok New York, the friend I went with has lived there for years. He said it was like coming back to New York and the nostalgia of the environment and music hit him right away. The food portions are large, and extremely delicious. The owner of the restaurant is also a very kind and welcoming person. If there was a restaurant like this in Merced, I can easily see it definitely being one of the best food spots here.

If there ever was a case of serendipity, finding the Chefs of New York was a classic example!  We ordered the 16" New York Combo which is larger than most standard mediums, and the flavors and thin crust were delicious! (Tip: For the best experience dine-in vs take-out)

The pizza was so big (there were three of us) we took home leftovers!

Peggy was such a friendly and knowledgable waitress.  We couldn't ask for a better ambiance and experience! Cannot wait to go back!

So the lady at the counter refunded my order but this was still a major let down.

We ordered a "white Sicilian deep dish" from the website for pick up. On the website its listed under "combination" and will contain "pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and olives"(see pics for reference).

I was given a pizza that was white sauce, mozzarella, and ricotta.

There is a section on the website for these pizzas, but this was listed under combos. Our pizza was 30.99$ before tax.

The taste is good but not what we were expecting. Its kind of just really good cheese bread. We're just kind of disappointed.
