A very nice spot for an intimate dinner with a diverse menu. Service was attentive, everything we ordered was enjoyable... Not mind blowing but well prepared and balanced. My only constructive feedback would be the spinach chausson/ turnover was extremely hot temperature wise (the burn your mouth temp) while every other item was just warm- in most cases a little too lukewarm for my liking.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with our family, a group of six foodies! The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing yet contemporary and subtly upbeat. While waiting for our party to arrive we ordered two Buffalo Nickels which were chilled and refreshing. For apps, we shared salads with a light vinaigrette, salmon raviolis and oyster chowder. The bread was fresh and crispy. Our party ordered the poussin, kanpaci, rib eye and the rockfish. Every dish was unique, flavorful and plentiful. We couldn’t decide what to order so we shared everything and no one was disappointed. Our waiter and the staff was so caring and friendly. Absolutely fantastic! Will definitely return.

Overall salt level were high on what we ordered- potato chips, mushrooms, steak and garnish, soup were salty.
Contemporary Asian fusion but lacking deep and rich flavors, overall dishes are greasy.

Bread and butter were very delicious.
Desserts were top notch
Pastry was so good.

Visiting my sisters in D.C. and suggested we visit a Michelin restaurant. The food was good but not out of this world like I’d expect a Michelin starred restaurant to be. The filling in the empanadas were not my favorite, however the pastry portion was quite good.  I ordered the steak and was expecting it to be more flavorful and tender than it was; however, the sides were cooked very nicely. The highlight of the dinner were the desserts, they  were phenomenal! I think I will be back to try the chicken as our server said that is their best dish. Service was great and cocktails were just okay.

For our dinner experience at Kinship we had the Crab en Feuille de Bric, Lobster French Toast, Roast Chicken, Pomegranate Montblanc and Apple Pie. All of the food was very good or excellent. The crab was the stand out for me, really incredible flavor. If you want to get the roast chicken, be aware it'll be an hour and ten minutes wait because they're made to order. Not worth the wait in my opinion. It was very good but probably not an hour wait better than the other dishes.

While the food was good, the service was not. I'd consider it subpar for any restaurant, nevermind a Michelin starred one. We got off to a bad start immediately with our waiter being very slow to come to our table after we were initially seated. This theme continued throughout the service. After waiting an excessively long time to order our desserts as our waiter chatted up another table in the relatively empty restaurant, I had to flag down another staff member to get our orders taken. Too bad the 20% service fee is fixed because it certainly was not deserved.
