Rose’s Luxury may be favorite restaurant in DC! Had a chance to go here in January to experience their winter menu and the dishes were so well curated.

The lychee salad is absolutely my favorite item on their menu and a must to get. As a vegetarian I appreciate they provide a version with Impossible Meat to get a similar experience.

Service is also incredible! There was a never a time my water glass wasn’t full and the staff is so attentive to your needs.

By far one of the best Michelin Star experiences I’ve had! Highly recommend visiting if you can get a reservation.

PS: my favorite part is they send you home with a couple of extra goodies ;)

One of my favorite restaurants in DC! Of course the pork and lychee is unforgettable. The flavors mesh so well together. My husband and I love cooking food and have tried multiple times to get the flavors but failed. So off we go, back to Roses to get this beautifully crafted dish.
I’m not a huge lamb fan but my husband loved the lamb dish!
The Madeline’s are a chefs kiss. Definitely had to ask for refills!
Soft shell crab dish was unforgettable.
Steak and “eggs” was a steak dish with fries and some sort of egg based sauce. Compared to all the other dishes, this was definitely mediocre.
The strawberry shortcake was amazing and the mint really brought out the flavor of the dessert.
Lastly, the service was amazing! As busy as our server was, the made sure to make us feel noticed!

Roses Luxury is one of my favorite spots for a memorable dining experience, especially for couples. We came here for our anniversary. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a romantic evening. I’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The lychee salad is a must-try—always the best! Don’t eat lunch earlier that day!
Because you’ll want to be as hungry as humanly possible to eat here. Every single course was insane. Food wise, the dishes were all welcoming and yummy-looking but then after the first bite you realize there’s something *extra* they did to uplevel. Best fried chicken ever? Sure. Served with your own bottle of crystal hot sauce, a surprise bump of caviar and the champagne of beers? Hell yes. The vibes? Chill and exciting at the same time. Guests really leaning into a night out — dressed in everything from a trendy casual set to full-on glam. And the server was so funny and informative, like a safari guide through the wild. And overall it was really wild, too! Already been twice in as many months and can’t wait for my next special occasion as an excuse to go again.

This was our first visit and am planning future visits. Dining here was absolutely phenomenal from the service to the delectable food! We booked a reservation for 2 and was seated at the bar. We booked during the time frame they were celebrating their 11th year. Sam was our bartender and I don't have adequate words to describe his awesomeness! He set the bar stupid high for any other restaurant we go to now. The foods we ate literally shut me up and sigh with each bite. When presented with our check, we were given a sassy gift bag with a brisket sandwich to take home ❤️ Thank you Roses for a truly amazing experience. See you soon!

Vi åt min födelsedagsmiddag här en hektisk lördagskväll. Vi kunde bara få 9 : 30 men vi hade ett härligt bord. Inredningen är fräsch, och atmosfären är ungdomlig. Jag kände att alla där såg sitt bästa i sin egen personliga och avslappnade stil, personal och kundkrets lika, vilket ger en uppsving aktuell vibe, som jag upptäckte skulle matcha den unika och moderna köket också. 
När man äter är maten inte allt, och inredningen jag uppskattade var de vackra bordsljusen, exponerade lågan men ändå den perfekta mängden glöd; den eklektiska konsten, från ett dramatiskt svartvitt storverk ovanför trapphuset, till en nyckfull flamingo i tennisskor och en liten ”fu 88 perfect” meme inramad bakom några underbara fräscha blomsterarrangemang. Eklektisk och ren är det estetiska här. De två - berättelse stadsbostad är utformad med stort flöde, och från övervåningen kunde jag se den livliga baren men ändå njuta av det fridfulla bordet med min matpartner från ett annat rum, avskiljd av pittoreska fönsterrutor. Drinkglasen var så eleganta, och jag respekterade det tunna barglaset, som går sönder så lätt, skulle jag tro, varför de verkar vara sällsynta. 
Våra drinkar var så härliga, togs fram i rätt tid, och vi älskade också de saftiga tjocka oliverna i våra martini. 
Vår server behandlade oss som en vän, och hade allt trevligt kurs ut för oss. Jag kände att hon tog hand om oss hela tiden. (Det enda lilla felet var i slutet av huvudrätten, som kom lite senare än resten av måltiderna, vilket var bra på vår sida, men jag blev sedan tillfrågad om dessert medan jag var i de sista tuggorna av huvudrätten; jag kunde ha använt fem minuter mer och jag skulle då ha varit redo att prata om dessert. ) Jag ger fortfarande allt fem stjärnor, inklusive vår service eftersom timing och service på alla andra aspekter var oklanderlig.

Det var min födelsedag, och överraskningsljuset var verkligen en rolig fest, värdig en fantastisk Insta-rulle, och även om vi hade en lugnande underbart vit majsbrödsstekt glass, var jag imponerad av att vår firande karamell - y födelsedagstårtbitar var ännu mer smaskiga och i nivå med menyn - ed alternativ. 
Det här är en härlig plats, och jag längtar efter att komma tillbaka och njuta av denna kreativa fest som utmanar min uppfattning om vad mat och middag är och kan vara, om vi bara ger utrymme att föreställa oss. Den personliga servicen fick oss att känna att när vi går tillbaka, kommer det att kännas som att besöka gamla vänner.

Tur för mig att jag var inbjuden till en fest på Rose's Luxury. Från det ögonblick jag kom in, var servitrisens uppmärksamhet omöjligt att missa. Medan någon knotade om kockens koreanska inflytande hade jag inga klagomål på de japanska - inspirerade majspuffarna (takoyaki - inspirerade och helt utsökta). Gnocchin var den bästa jag någonsin smakat, även om hjärtat av palm med wagyubiff kunde ha stannat i köket. Creme brûlée med päronpärlor var att dö för. Vi förväntade oss mycket mer från en Michelin stjärna restaurang. Ingen av våra rätter var minnesvärd. Vegansk version av en rätt var inte mer än att eliminera proteinet.

Bästa och mest skräddarsydda service jag upplevt. Oklanderlig. Maten var utsökt men jag önskar mindre kryddig. De var bra på att detaljera vilka rätter som var kryddiga och vad kryddorna var dock. Härlig atmosfär, inte alls kvav. Folk verkade faktiskt älska sina jobb!

Denna plats är super söt och värt det! Servicen är oklanderlig. Alla är vänliga och kunniga om rätterna. Jag älskade förklaringar följt av utsökt mat! 
Drinkarna är fenomenala och bartendern var supervänlig! (Han hade typ blont hår och bryn och det tror jag) . Men han var toppen! 
Deras wagyuburgare med tryffel är en stor hit! Jag älskade det och presentationen var fenomenal. Definitivt en dc pärla!

Låt mig börja med det positiva: servicen var oklanderlig, som förväntat. Personalen var uppmärksam, kunnig och verkligen fick oss att känna sig välkomna. Maten, som är hjärtat i alla fina middagsupplevelser, föll dock långt under förväntningarna. Kocken verkar ha skiftat fokus mot att införliva koreanskinspirerade rätter i menyn. Som korean själv med höga krav på äkta koreansk mat, fann jag avrättningen vara bristfällig. 

En av rätterna innehöll en kryddig riskaksform, och jag kunde inte låta bli att undra om kocken gjorde riskakorna och chilipepparpastan från grunden. Smakerna kändes av, och den marinerade såsen i revbenen var lika underväldigande. Vår server nämnde att kocken hade rest till Korea för inspiration, och även om jag uppskattar ansträngningen, hoppas jag verkligen att han tar sig tid att lära sig autentiska tekniker och smaker av koreanska köket. 

För det pris vi betalade, skulle jag ha varit bättre att besöka en autentisk koreansk restaurang. Jag förstår att Rose's Luxury är en fusionsrestaurang, men den nuvarande menyn känns osammanhängande och missar märket. Jag önskar verkligen att de hade behållit 2018-menyn, som var inget annat än fantastisk. Denna senaste erfarenhet var långt ifrån vad jag mindes, och det är synd att se en sådan försämring av kvaliteten.

Min man och jag bodde i Capitol Hill området för ett par dagar och bestämde sig för att kolla in Rose's Luxury. Vi satt i ett litet rum med charmig inredning på övervåningen i anslutning till en bar. Rummet var livlig men inte överdrivet högt. Servicen var fantastisk och vi kände oss väl omhändertagna. Vi var bara en smula besviken med maten. Det var mycket bra, även om vi förväntade oss att det skulle vara exceptionellt. Vi är glada att ha provat det och haft vår måltid, även om vi förmodligen inte skulle återvända eftersom det finns andra platser i DC som vi föredrar.

Bästa måltiden jag har haft på mycket länge. Både maten och servicen var enastående. Det är inte billigt - - kostade oss nästan $ 500 för två personer, inklusive en god flaska vin, skatt och dricks. Men om det är möjligt för en måltid för två personer att vara värt 500 dollar, var den här! (Min enda negativa kommentar är att de verkligen borde ta bort de 3 . 75 % tilläggsavgift - - bara baka in det i priset på måltiden) .

Jag brukar inte recensera restauranger som jag tycker att folk är för kräsna ibland på sina recensioner med för höga förväntningar men vår middag erfarenhet var bäst. Inte billigt men värt vartenda öre av de $ 400 (inklusive flerrätters fin mat kreativt gjorda och presenterade, skatter, dricks och 3 glas vin) för oss två. 

Vår server Kae var så välkomnande med en fantastisk personlighet. Gjorde matupplevelsen top notch för oss. Hela personalen gjorde ett fantastiskt jobb. Väntade inte på något, vatten fylldes snabbt, rätter serveras och tas bort vid målgång i tid. Ville inte ha för något. 

Maten var utmärkt från brödet, litchisallad, grillad gurka, ärtpasta, Tteokbokki, nötkött revben till den sista touchen av blodiglar tårta. 

Vår 5: e gången på Roses men inte vår sista. Välskött och jag rekommenderar starkt.

Vi hade hört så bra saker och blev så besvikna. 

* För det priset är jag osäker på varför vi åt så mycket pasta. 
* För en delningsmeny är jag osäker på varför vi inte fick serveringsredskap. 
* Huvudrätten serverades utan ens tillräckligt med grönsaker för en, än mindre två. (Jag kommer att säga revbenen var utmärkt, även om det är för svårt att separera i två måltider) . 
* Den litchi fläsksallad var utsökt och ovanlig. 
* Ibland skulle smakerna på rätterna, och på de extra som kastas i, strida. 
* Kocken använder för mycket sötningsmedel. 
* Och, för högt.

Det har gått ett tag sedan jag sist var här och de fortsätter att servera fantastisk mat! Fläsk- och litchysallad fortsätter till min favorit sak här och jag är inte ensam. Det har varit på menyn för alltid och med goda skäl!

De gör fantastiska saker här och vårt parti hade 1-2 av allt på menyn! ! Det fanns inte en maträtt som vi inte älskar (jag gillar inte fisk men de gör alla) och smakerna fortsätter att vara färska, intressanta och nya. Pastorna fortsätter att vara utmärkta och sanna stjärnor bland de andra rätterna.

Till och med desserterna, som normalt är fruktansvärda eftersom de vill göra grönsaker till desserter (varför?!?) Var ganska bra. Det var en kokosnötglass, en popcorn creme brulee och mer! De hade en aubergine dessert (kom igen killar!) Som vi inte ätit för det är inte en efterrätt!

Vi önskar också att de skulle överge politiken utan reservationer, vilket tvingar dig att gå på taskrabbit och betala någon för att stå i linje för dig. Jag antar att de är bättre jobbskapare än Trump, men jag tappar. . .

Om du är på humör för några av de bästa stekt kyckling, stekt havskatt eller nötkött som du någonsin har haft i ditt liv, kan du gå till Rose's Luxury. Litchiesalaten var en fantastisk kombination av söt, crunch, tugga och smak. Det enda “negativa” jag hade är att jag hittade alkoholpriserna lite i högsta grad.
Som sagt, jag skulle komma tillbaka igen!

Åt på en upptagen lördagskväll. Med ett presentkort (tack, Emily!) Kan du också få en reservation. Gå till dörren (ja, framför linjen) för att låta dem få reda på din bokningsinfo, så kommer de att placera dig på den lilla terrassen intill dörren. Ganska trevligt, eftersom det har sittplatser att vänta på. Övertäck för taket gav skydd mot vädret.
Vi satt vid Chef's Table, vilket var en stor glädje! ! ! Att titta på rollen av spelare som skapar måltiderna var fascinerande, och nivån av vård, hantverk och oro som går in i varje fasett av skapelsen är väldigt imponerande.
Menyn är relativt liten, vinlistan också, men varje objekt på båda är perfekt för vad den är. Kvalitet slår kvantitet varje gång på en meny eller vinlista.
Priserna är rimliga, särskilt för DMV-platsen.
Vi beställde sex små plattor och en familjstorlek. Definitiv favorit var den gröna tomatpanzanellaen. Magnifik! ! Spiralskivad grön tomat med sura degkrutonger och ansjovis hade smaker som fortfarande gör min tunga glad att tänka på. Jag kommer tillbaka och se om jag kan se hur de lyckas få spirala gröna tomater! ! Helt fantastiskt. Alla andra markeringar var bättre än bra, flera varga på bra. Tills vi kom till brisket. Jag kunde bokstavligen inte äta min del, eftersom saltskorpan var så salt det var allt jag kunde smaka. Kött var vackert kokt till gaffelens ömhet, härligt fuktig, men saltövervägande förstörde det. Vitlöksrostat bröd var långt den bättre delen av kombinationen.
Beställde två desserter var var och en mycket salt - framåt i smak, särskilt i brödpudding. Cr me br l e var också mycket mer salt än söt.
TILLBAKA AV SALTEN! Det är vägen för mycket och du är vägen för bra för att göra den här typen av misstag.
Vi kommer tillbaka, klokt till de nedslående artiklarna och mest intresserade av en upprepning av majoritetens stora urval. Speciellt teknik för spiral prepping grön tomat.

Jag har sett detta ställe länge. Kom på en lugn fredagskväll direkt efter en hektisk semester. Ingen väntade i rad klockan 17. Min kusin och jag bestämde mig för att ta drinkar 2 dörrar ner och vid 545 fanns det redan 10 personer i linje. Thing with Roses är att boka eller förvänta sig att vänta. Vi valde den smakliga lyxmenyn med 8 - 9 rätter. Vi älskade litchi sallad. Riktigt intressant kombination av smaker från fläskkorven, lunch och värme från habanero. Den krispiga blomkålen är ett måste. Den grekiska yoghurten med den vita tryffeln ovanpå var läcker. Den rökta brisket tillagades perfekt och presenterades riktigt bra. Långsamt kokta tunt skivad brisket med smörig rostat bröd. Farro reginetti och rigatoni med tryffel var också läckra. Beställ båda om du älskar färsk pasta.

Rose hade stor atmosfär och jag rekommenderar att du sitter vid kockarna eller långt tillbaka närmare taklamporna. Servrarna och personalen är fantastiska. Bra träning, uppmärksam och mycket kunnig på menyn. Du kan säga att denna plats körs riktigt bra när de lägger så mycket detaljer i varje maträtt. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka för att prova deras andra artiklar. Vi har verkligen haft vår upplevelse här. Bra utförande team!
