Really delicious food. Fantastic menu! Really like that they have a platter option to try all the cold / warm starters in one dish. We got the cold starter platter, some kinkali soup dumplings and some coffee. It was a good breakfast!

We went here for our Georgian experience of Passport Plates and wow, it was great. Delicious food! 5/6 items we ordered were vegetarian and they were incredible.

Today I visited Supra with my wife, and sadly, the experience was far from enjoyable. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know that hospitality is the cornerstone of any dining experience. A restaurant can get away with average food or a subpar product if the hospitality is exceptional, but this place missed the mark on all fronts: poor service, mediocre food, and an overall lack of warmth or engagement.

We arrived around 3:30 PM, during the lull between services. The restaurant was empty, yet there was no welcoming atmosphere or effort to make us feel comfortable. There was no introduction to Georgian cuisine or an explanation of the menu, which would have been especially appreciated given its uniqueness. The host seemed unprepared and didn’t handle our request to change tables graciously—it felt like an inconvenience rather than a simple adjustment.

Despite the lack of activity, it became evident that someone who appeared to be the manager was present. However, they were clearly not doing their job effectively, as the entire experience lacked direction or leadership. There was no music to create ambiance, the servers never checked in to see how our experience was going, and the restaurant felt lifeless.

The food itself was bland, lacking the vibrant flavors one might expect from Georgian cuisine. The final blow to the experience was that, upon leaving, none of the staff at the front said goodbye or acknowledged us. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the wine, which stood out as the sole highlight of the visit.

Overall, it was a disheartening experience. Hospitality, attention to detail, and flavorful dishes are fundamental to any restaurant, and Supra fell short in all these areas.

I had a great expectation because they recommended it to me a lot from a place of food in Georgia in Philadelphia (inside the market) and that in that place it was phenomenal but in this place it did not give me the same flavor or the same dedication. Happy to have been able to dine here at such a late hour when many other restaurants were closed. The interior was really pretty and the kitchen had a semi-open view, which I appreciated. Overall, no dish stood out to me, and the lamb chops were a bit overcooked, lacked a good color, and served with slightly undercooked potatoes. Jag vandrade över D.C. med stora förhoppningar och en mullrande mage, lockad av Supras djärva löfte om en ”georgisk fest”. Vad jag istället fick var ett georgiskt fiasko – en bedragare som maskerade sig som tradition, serverade intetsägande med en sida av besvikelse. 
Låt oss börja med lavashen. Tunn, torr och kusligt påminnande om en stormarknad vete tortilla - om detta var tänkt att framkalla själen i georgiskt bröd, missade den märket av en kontinent. Den lula - kebab, tappert pepprad i ett desperat försök att sticka ut, var torr och glädjelös, som en misslyckad audition för smak. 
Sedan kom rödkålen, som hade fräckheten att flirta med georgiska kryddor men vägrade att binda sig. Resultatet? En grov, svårtuggad garnering som krockade med allt på tallriken som en full farbror på ett bröllop. Och den så kallade ”adjika”? En sorglig skopa av vad som smakade som konserverade stuvade tomater, fråntagna den eldiga komplexiteten som får riktig adjika att sjunga. 
Menyn var en kyrkogård av missade möjligheter. Inga Chkmeruli. Ingen Tkemali. Inga spår av de rika, aromatiska såser som definierar det georgiska köket. Det är som om kocken skummade en Wikipedia-artikel om Georgien och bestämde sig för att vinge det med vad som låg runt. 
Supra hyllar inte georgisk mat – den karikatyriserar den. Antingen är kocken och ägaren bedrövligt oinformerade eller aktivt allergiska mot äktheten. I vilket fall som helst är denna restaurang en björntjänst för det pulserande kulinariska arvet som den påstår sig hedra. 
Om du är sugen på en äkta georgisk fest, fortsätt gå. Supra är en varnande berättelse klädd i låtsas.

FANTASTISK UPPLEVELSE – Maten är underbar och personalen är utmärkt. Lydia H. tog väl hand om vår födelsedagsfest på fyra. Mat presenteras i rätt tid, ser fantastisk ut och smakar ännu bättre! Yum. Lamm kababs är mört och smakar bra, jag älskade pickle sortimentet, men OMG Khachapuri (ost fyllda bröd) är FANTASTISK! Ropa ut till Lydia för att hon gör vår födelsedagsmiddag till en underbar upplevelse och ett bra jobb överallt, från köket och kockarna till diskplockarna. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka. Gå. Njut!

Allt var bara wow! Servrarna var supertålmodiga medan vi studerade menyn. Till slut valde vi ut två små tallrikar att börja med: Pork Belly and Sokos Khachapuri. Fläskmagen var mör med en perfekt skorpa. Den serverades över en bädd av krämig majsghomi. Det var mycket likt gryn och det perfekta komplementet till fläskmagen. Sokos Khachapuri var en måltid i sig. Helt utsökt! Sulguniosten kontrollerar alla rutor: salt, geggig, strängig.

Utsökt georgisk mat. Fläsk och nötkött soppa dumplings är fantastiska. Vi kunde beställa bara dem och ostbröd och vara nöjda. Min man beställde Pear Georgian soda och det var utsökt. Jag gillade bärnstensvinsflygningen. Detta var vårt andra besök med flera års mellanrum och det var värt besöket.

Georgisk mat som är mycket enkel och rejäl tillagas utmärkt här på denna exklusiva restaurang. Därför kan det vara dyrt om du någonsin haft det utanför en storstad. Jag delade med mig av några förrätter. Även om vi alla beställde våra egna rätter, slutade det med att vi delade vårt utbud för att ha mer av ett utbud av smaker på en kall natt. Drycker är mycket unika och bör inte missas. Tyvärr hade ingen av oss något utrymme kvar för dessert. Servicen är uppmärksam och vänlig.

Jag bokade bord på nätet ungefär en timme innan jag åkte ner. Jag ville prova det eftersom jag inte hade provat georgiska köket innan. Efter ankomsten kunde jag komma till bordet ganska snabbt. Det fanns en liten butik på sidan av ingången samt ett stort vinkylskåp. Matsalen var öppen men var inte alltför högt. 
Jag tog några olika föremål för att prova. Jag köpte ajaruli khachapuri, en brödbåt full av ost, samt khinkali och fläsk mtsvadi. Khachapurin var fantastisk och rik. brödet var riktigt trevligt och den ostiga fyllningen var härlig. Jag njöt också av khinkali, med den saftiga och soppiga fyllningen. Fläsket var trevligt men jag tyckte det var lite torrt. 
Det var en trevlig plats för middag och värt att stanna till för khachapuri ensam.

Inte särskilt upptagen Thanksgiving vecka. Maten var bra, särskilt bröd/ost/ägg aptitretare. Den blandade köttprovtagaren blandades eftersom de goda såserna som serverades var i mycket små rätter. Pickles aptitretare var bara ok, lite över - prissatt.

Fantastisk upplevelse! Bra service och alla tre av våra rätter var fantastisk. Lättast att ta kollektivtrafiken eftersom det finns mycket lite parkering i området. Mina vänner var i från Austin och var verkligen imponerad.

Min son tog mig och hans söner till Supra på en mars söndag morgon. Klockan 10.00 var restaurangen inte trångt, men den började fyllas snabbt. Alla de andra hade ätit här flera gånger (och de älskar platsen), så jag var glad att få möjligheten att prova det! Jag hade aldrig provat georgiansk mat (landet, inte staten) innan, men älskade det! Våra favoriträtter inkluderade Megruili (fantastisk ostig pizza typ av skålen) och Ajaruli (en ostliknande, äggig, brödskål), men allt vi beställde var utmärkt. Mycket uppmärksam personal och bra mat, det är lätt att se varför den här nya restaurangen får alla typer av positivt erkännande!

Varje maträtt var välsmakande och annorlunda än vad jag har haft förut. Bröd med ost var enastående och ett måste! Mina vänner älskade klimparna men jag tyckte att de var lite för stora.
