Best Restaurant 2024 in Tampa. Orders placed in whole to optimize the flow. Definitely recommend talking to the Sommelier. All wines are Italian. Our selection was spot on. Get the table side Mozzarella for sure and I recommend one additional app and a main per person. The bread is a must and our waiter Ryan was super awesome. Thanks for a great experience Chef Bryce and team.

Rocca Review

We went here for the first time last night and let me say it was fabulous! The ambience was perfect, cozy and classy. Our server Taylor was welcoming and attentive. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for a long time I appreciate that level of service. He walked us through the menu and made recommendations based on our palate and was spot on! We got the bread, which is made in house, the beef carpaccio with mushrooms, the tableside made fresh mozzarella and tomatoes with their aged balsamic (A MUST!) even for 2 people, the raviolini with veal and Demi glace, and the agnolotti with chili tomatoes and garlic breadcrumbs - which all their pastas are made from scratch and you can taste it! The textures and flavors were so delicious. Well balanced cocktails. From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to our next visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We absolutely loved our time at Rocca. As a new age Michelin they had a very young and vibrant atmosphere, we opted to sit at the chefs table in the kitchen which was an amazing experience for our parents. I would like them to do a little bit more decorating for that area but overall it was great. We got 3 bottles of wine all recommended by the sommelier and he was incredible and so knowledgable. We ordered the mozzarella cart, bread, scallops, and shrimp for appetizers and the mozzarella cart is truly a must, it was fantastic. For our mains we had a selection of pastas and steak - the stand outs being the brown butter ravioli and the spicy squid ink and octopus pastas. For dessert we have the chocolate cake and basil custard and to the shock of no one, it was also amazing. Would love to come back and would love for them to start to feature a tasting menu with wine pairings in the future

Wonderful experience at this well deserving Michelin star gem. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was delicious!

Started off with the steak carpaccio (those pickled mushrooms added a perfect touch to create a well balanced flavor) and fresh bread (the lemon butter is to die for). Had the tagliolini ragu and my partner got the veal raviolini. Both very good and the ragu was perfectly hearty. Pasta is definitely al dente but not in bad way. Finished off with the chocolate torta… oh my gosh! I could drink the chocolate sauce it was so good!

My only regret was not getting the mozzarella cart as everyone around us had ordered it and it was a treat to watch it be made. I was extremely jealous 😅 Highly recommend this place if you’re in Tampa!

Their crab spaghetti is out of this world. The sourness of the lemon makes the crab the sweetest I’ve ever had. I don’t think saying that their pastas are the most al dente I’ve ever had makes sense, but that’s what it was. Fantastic spot for Italian food and in our opinion, reasonably priced as well. Oh and the bread, so so good!
