I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the past 20 years.  It is always nice, and it is the extremely convenient when cruising.  Junior, one of the parking managers, treats me wonderfully.  I always know my car will be in good hands with him.  He treats me like a valued customer and friend.  I feel at home at this property, and the service is always first rate.  Junior deserves extra praise.  The views of the cruise port are fabulous.

Amazing location and beautiful rooms with a view of the cruise port!  This facility and the conference center were outstanding.

I went to use the $25 resort credit but it was a few hours past my checkout time.  Luckily Tom the manager at the front desk was outstanding to work with and cleared everything up!  Wonderful.

I would definitely stay here again for the great views and proximity to lots of restaurants and nightlife.

I stayed here for one night before my cruise and I’m disappointed with several aspects. The rooftop bar was closed due to what it appeared to be construction and the restaurant was closed for a private party. Having the bar and restaurant was a heavy factor in determining why we chose to stay here. When you get there, they charge you a $35 destination fee and we were not able to really use it on anything besides the very mediocre room service. Lastly, I had to go on the computer really quick and to my surprise, they charged me 7 dollars for just using the computer for only a few minutes. If I would have known that or if there was a sign, I wouldn’t have used it. I’ve never been at a hotel where they charge you to just use the computer.
Everything just fell as a disappointment here. As I stated, one of the reasons we booked was due to the restaurant and rooftop bar, which were both closed. I wish they would have told us before we booked as the website and pictures are EXTREMELY misleading. I will not be staying here again. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

5 stars for Lily! She turned our initial bad impression after speaking to someone on the phone into a very positive one. She went above and beyond in service even when other encounters with staff at the same hotel did not provide the same experience. Lily is an excellent employee who deserves a raise.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay and unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations, particularly as a platinum member. Prior to my arrival, I had checked in online and specifically requested for both of my rooms to be close to each other. According to the initial assignment, I was given rooms 3017 and 3018, which met my request.

However, at check-in, I was surprised to find that only one of the assigned rooms was honored, while the other was switched to a different location. When I inquired about this, the staff simply stated that they could not do anything about it, offering no solutions or apologies.

Additionally, I had chosen to forgo bonus points in exchange for a dining voucher/credit. Despite this, I was informed at the desk that my account had already been processed for bonus points, and there was nothing they could do to change it. When I clarified that I had opted for the dining credit and should have been asked about my choice, the staff member was dismissive and unfriendly. Her demeanor was cold, lacking any smile or empathy, which made the interaction even more unpleasant.

Overall, the service was unsatisfactory, and the lack of consideration for platinum members was disheartening. I hope the hotel management takes steps to improve staff training and guest service to prevent future disappointments.
